The faculty is very knowledgeable and enhances individuals personality and growth they tried really there best to reach out the best potential of students.
The institution not only offers competitive tuition fees but also provides opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs, ensuring affordability while promoting academic excellence.
I am a first-year student i don't have much knowledge about the placements but according to the website the average placement is 7,20,000 which quite good for a beginner, the college provides many internship opportunities as well.

Dislikes

Actually fee i decent but i guess scholarship and financial assistance facilities should be given but it's very difficult to avail here.
The college canteen is very bad . food tastes like hell
Student teacher ratio is also bad and not upto the mark

Good professors who were very knowledgeable about their subjects
Good crowd of students as they have been admitted through high cutoffs
Good infrastructure which includes large classrooms, library, gymnasium, sports facilities and a field

Dislikes

Inefficient management on the college's end especially during event organising
No Air Conditioning in classrooms which can lead to students feeling very warm during Summers
Canteen seems dark and gloomy which can be upgraded and also Nutrition rich meal should be sold instead of junk food

The placement cell of ramjas college is responsible for the placements and are doing a good job . The Students are eligible for internships right from their first semester and full time job roles are mostly reserved for the 5th and 6th semester students. Many top companies such as Deloitte, Kpmg, Pwc and EY visit the campus along with top firms like D.E Shaw and Accenture. The average package of the college is 7.5 Lpa and the highest package was 24 Lpa The highest package was offered by D.E Shaw , the number of offers rolled out was around 120+ . My plans after getting the degree is to get into corporate.

Ramjas college experience

Likes

It is a renowned college that is affordable compared to private colleges.
Most of the professors are sincere and truly passionate about their subject.
The societies are active and immersive , aiding in personality development.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not up to good standards , No effort is put towards maintanence of the college.
During student body elections, there is disturbance as political party members create havoc ruining the atmosphere of the college.
The faculty is irresponsible and doesn't cater towards students in some cases.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is rigid, teaching methods are not immersive and are boring. As a humanities student, curriculum is more about knowing different theories and how they are applicable in the contemporary world. Teaching methods should be more immersive.

Greenary of college is great and theres enough walking place with proper shed
Faculty and proffesiors are great and supportive
Theres lift access for students and multiple societies for participation

Dislikes

No AC in classrooms which makes the classrooms a little hot
Canteen food is very bad sometimes its not properly cookedso you have to it from outside the college
because its in north campus political campaigns are very common

Ramjas College: An Overview

Likes

I liked the course of my college that i have chosen to do.
I liked the faculty of the course that i have chosen to do.
I liked the lab infrastructure of the course i have chosen to do.

Dislikes

The lack of proper canteen facilities and unhygienic conditions in the canteen.
The lack of hostel facilities due to old buildings.
The active politics everywhere in the college.

Placement Experience:

We have an active placement cell in the college. Students are eligible for placement in 6th Semester. there are quite a lot of companies that offer jobs and we do get a decent average package. I plan on pursuing master's degree after this.

Ramjas : From the eyes of a fresher

Likes

The college environment is vibrant, there's something going on in every part of the college from the DS lane to canteen , sports complex , eco lawn , english corridor
The seniors are helpful, they assist us juniors in anything we find confusing
There are a lot of societies so there's alot to do , i myself have applied for like 5,6 societies, so its too much fun having so much interaction with all kind of people it just broadens your viewpoint

Dislikes

College administration is so slow , like teachers weren't appointed even after 2 months , and also the class can be cancelled anytime without any prior intimation
There's too much politics it isnt bad in itself but if you dont find yourself in line with politics you'd definitely be intimidated

Placement Experience:

I think from 6th semester placement starts to happen , there's this placement cell called pinnacle , but i heard placements aren't that good because its just undergraduate degree , most of the placements are around 4-5lpa also the teachers said we won't be able to handle corporate work culture , my plans after getting this degree is to complete CA course and get into a good college for postgraduate

Ramjas College has a great academic reputation, specially in humanities and commerce. The faculty members are very knowledgeable.
The campus life is very vibrant with societies that organize many fun and engaging events. It provides opportunities to interact with students from different courses.
The professors are very approachable, they help in academic guidance and also provide personal mentorship.

Dislikes

While a majority of teachers are highly qualified and experienced, few teachers still lack engagement which affects the learning of the students.
Placements services are prominent for professional courses, students need to rely heavily on external internships and networking.

It is a place to develop yourself.

No wifi too much internet problem,Fans are too slow in summer it feel too much hot

I think from 3 year 5th semester students are eligible for the placement. Companies that comes are Deloitte,ibm etc. i have not too much knowledge about that but i think the median package is 4-5 lakh per annum and highest is 10 lakh. My want to become more professional and become capable to buy anything of my interest.

Campus Vibe: Traditional North Campus culture is enjoyable and has a lot to offer

Placements at Ramjas are quite competitive and are at par with other major colleges at University of Delhi. Highest package to be offered at Ramjas in the previous academic year was 24 LPA. Placements are spread across various sectors. Consulting, Finance, Tax and Audit are some of the major ones to name some. Average Package is at 7.5 LPA where as Median Package stands at 6 LPA.

Ramjas college as compare to othet top notch du colleges.

Likes

Cultural diversity here is great. If tou explore you can meet people from all over India and have really great college life friends.
This collegee just need lkttle bit improvement , then it will be in top 3 collelges of DU.
Campus life is great here. You can meet so many different people with great experience and cultures.

Dislikes

Canteen is not upto the mark as compared to other top colleges of DU.
Library need be improved as compared to other du collges I have seen.
Timetable can be improved, we have to wait for 2 hours for other classes.

Placement here are good for commerce and economics courses. We have to explore for them which is easier as compared to other colleges below it. If we work as constantly look for opportunities we can have good placemeent here. Also you have to have an add on course like CA, CFA etc. if you really want good placement .
