I choose to pursue my MBA programme from the DOMS, IIIT ROORKEE as the department was very keen on providing a quality education services to the students, even the faculty are super talented and knowledgeable. Placements are significantly great and admission process is conducted very smoothly. My admission for the MBA programme was done based on CAT scores followed by PI.
DOMS IITR is one of top B-Schools in India which has been ranked 48 for MBA by ET times 2019. Besides, the institute's faculty and placement record are good enough. The institute initially trains people for the construction of Ganga canal. UG degree with 50% marks from a recognized board followed by CAT score and PI is necessary for the admission.
IIT Roorkee is one of the oldest institutions in the country. Its management studies' department began a couple of decades back and since then, has established itself as a major choice for aspirants who were rejected by the older/more reputed B-Schools. Admission to the course comprises of taking the CAT and appearing for the interview round.
Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee is a B School in a IIT campus. The students will get the opportunities from IIT also. This was why I opted to join here and do my MBA. The institute has secured 1st rank in Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2019. The admission is merit based on CAT scores.
The institute stands at the 6th position among management colleges as per NIRFs evaluation.Applications for MBA program of DOMS IIT Roorkee are accepted for two categories of candidates namely those applying on the basis of CAT score and the other category of IIT Graduates who were admitted through JEE Advance examination. The shortlisted ones are invited to appear in personal Interview. In the case of 1st category applicants, weightage is assigned to work experience as well.
