IBS Gurgaon Review : Fees , Value For Money AND Student Insights

Faculty:

Faculty to Student ratio: As there were 450 students in my batch and Faculty was 25 so 1:18. facultites were very approachable and also used to mentor all the students also Mentors were Assigned to different students so that student could easily resolve their issues I liked Abdul Aziz Sir . He was very pasionate . He used to teach product Management and alsowas my go to Faculty Everytime i faced any diffuculty.. In a single semester there were 2 exams . Mid sem and End sem . so 4 semesters and 8 exams,Exams were moderate if anyone studied properly he/she would pass exmas very easily.

Fact about IBS

In the college most of the teachers are adjunct professor so they just come 2-3 days a week take lecture and they are good because they are experienced in the corporate world and also have teaching experience

They provide guest lectures from industries
They provide training for each and every company before placement

The faculties are too many in number I can't provide exact number but the faculties are highly qualified and has good experience in their own field and some faculties are adjunct faculties. There are many faculties like Prof. Ranika Chaudhary, Prof. Rajesh Mishra, Prof. Aniruddha Ghosh and many more faculties like we ask any problem at any time and they provide solution. I don't have any name of the faculty whom i don't like as i found every faculty is good in nature and behavior. So we have semester 1 in which we have Cumulative Assessment 1- 10 marks Cumulative Assessment 2- 10 marks Mid Semester- 20 marks Cumulative Assessment 3- 10 marks Cumulative Assessment 4- 10 marks End Semester Exam - 40 marks Then semester-2 we have same as above Then we have summer internship program of 14 weeks mandatory and they also got evaluated by company guide and faculty guide and final presentation After that we have semester 3 and 4 where we choose specialisation as domains and evaluted as abo

Teachers teaches very well as compare to other colleges

Faculty is very approachable.The reationship between the student and the faculty members are quite good.Teachers are very friendly and teaches very well The faculty of the subject, accounts is very good. In my section,Ranjani Matta mam teaches accounts and she is very good in teaching.The students with the background of non commerce can easily understand accounts with the help of Ranjani Matta mam. The faculty of ISM (Information System Management) ia also quite good. Richa Bhargava mam teaches us ISM and she is very soft spoken. There are 4 semesters in our course . In each semester, exams are conducted 6 times. C1,C2,Mid term,C3,C4 and the last END TERM Mid terms are open book exams but they are quite tough. Questions are based on case studies only. C1 and C2s exams are easy. Students easily clear those exams C1,C2,C3,C4 exams hold 10% of weightage each. So the total weightage of these exams are 40% Mid terms exams hold 20% of weightage and end term is of 40%

Faculty is very helpful even after class hours.

Most of the faculty members are well trained and knowledgeable according to their subjects. They are ready to help even after class hours and provide mentorship on other topics. For every subject there are 3 teachers which are divided into different sections which makes it easier to reach to students.

the faculty of this college is great they have a very good and deep knowledge of their subjects as well as there are always there to help you in any problems related to course or placements.there teachers have 11 -15 year experience in either industry or in teaching and hold great knowledge.there are lecturers that hold relevant industry experience and certificates. there are classes from 9to 4:15 in 1st sem and 9:30 to 4:15 in 2nd sem. there are 6-7 subjects.in every semester.there is no age bracket for the admission.

Helpful and you cna reach up to any faculty they are always there to help. The faculty try and give different angles so that students and diversify there thoughts and link one sector with another. Group discussion are held in class for brain storming

Great college

Faculty is very supportive. They explain things clearly and are very humble. They even take extra classes for student clarification so that they do not face any problem during exams. They also suggest different books from which students can read and clear their doubts
