IBS Gurgaon Review : Fees , Value For Money AND Student Insights

Likes

Case Based Teaching method . Teachers used different Case Studies to teach all the students and it was very Helpful.
Campus Life Was good , We had a Canteen and Also Wifi and Smart Screen Was provided to Students. Also a Well equipped Library was there.

Dislikes

Infrastructure was not very good. Sports and other Co Curricular activity was very limited

Admission:

i chose this college because of the higher ROI provided. Fees was 9.3 lpa and Avg placement was 7 lpa at the time of my admission so i chose this college also my friend Recommended it . i Didn't get Rejection in any of the college applied . i rejected Symbiosis Nagpur as the fees was very high and ROI was very less. in my College Admission process is very Good. Give IBSAT or Cat or Xat . Score Above the cutoff and get selected.

Fact about IBS

Likes

Faculty out here good and they are knowledgeable and experienced
The course provides lot of knowledge which is related to the corporate
The campus is in the corporate building which is not that much famous

Dislikes

The cells in the college really sucks they are just a joke
The campus life is nothing just boring campus
The people in the college are not that good

Admission:

The college i rejected now I regret getting in this college just feel bored and exhaustive because lot of accademic pressure and the 75% attendance criteria for each subject otherwise you get debarred

Overview about IBS

Likes

Boys and girls ratio is around 2:1 more boys in the campus
The faculty and teaching methods is super good
Infrastructure is okay not that lavish but okay and the campus size is not that big

Dislikes

There is lot of politics in the cells of college and they don't provide any kind of exposure so I prefer not to join any
Campus size is the worst part just a building no other extracurricular activities like sports

Admission:

It is near my home, and I just want to have a degree from a good name college so I applied and main reason is that I want to build connection so this college provides the best opportunity for that by organising the guest lecturer and inviting industry professionals to college for lectures and seminars

Likes

Firstly i thought they are charging too high but after experience I found that the fees is not so high as they are providing facilities
They provide training for each and every company before placement
They provide guest lectures from industries

Dislikes

The campus is not so like college but facilities are good
The batch size is 450 and around 100 student got internship in insurance sector which is not so good but our internship cell is working on it and trying to remove those companies
During our batch the timings were 9:00 am to 5:35 pm

Admission:

The other college i applied for was NDIM, New Delhi, I got selected there but the reason for not going there is, comparatively the IBS is far better than that college in my opinion don't know about others. I gave IBSAT Exam which is online, and after that within 15 days i got the confirmation that i cleared the exam and got a call for pi and gd in Hyderabad. I went Hyderabad for GD and PI. After 20 days i got IBS Gurgaon as a campus and as per my preference as they have 9 campuses all over India.

A Deep Dive into IBS Gurgaon

Likes

classrooms are big and everything that is required like stationary shops, cafes are available in the college campus.
College campus is also very clean and the staff the very good
Teachers teaches very well as compare to other colleges

Dislikes

Cafeteria is quite small because there is more then1000 students in the college .It should be big.
No ground for games and activites. Events are organised in the classrooms only.
The food of the cafeteria is also not good.

I applied for ICFAI Business School,JAIPUR before taking admission in gurgaon. In jaipur they offer MBA(Masters of business administration) which is a theoritical degree and in gurgaon they offer PGPM (Post graduation program in management) which is a practical course,that's why i choose this college over others and the location is also quite good as gurgaon is the hub of jobs. I got confirmed admission from IBS Jaipur, NIMS Jaipur, Vivekanand Global University, Jaipur I want to take admission in IIMs but i am not selected and then i choose ICFAI Bussiness School, Gurgaon To take the admission in IBS, you have to clear the IBSAT Exam conducted by IBS Hyderabad,If the student scored well in the exams then he/she will get the scholarship of 2 lakhs.

Likes

Infrastructure was really good since the location of the college has been changed to corporate area
Events are held at regular interval which makes college life more good
Faculty is very helpful even after class hours.

Dislikes

The college exams are held regularly over a period of 1 week which makes it so stressful

Admission:

The admission process starts with filling out the form at icfai website after that IBSAT exam is conducted with includes QA,LR,VA similar to NMAT exam which is also accepted for admission. After that an interview is conducted to test the knowledge of the student. No reservation quota.

Things I like about my college is the campus, the environment and the joyfulness.
The junior-senior bond at the buddy sessions and the industry related sessions really help me to build and shape me
And I like the placement scenario which starts from July till the very end of the 4th semester.

Dislikes

Things which I disliked at if I Gurgaon is the very less space for playing badminton basketball they should be more indulgence to it

Admission:

The admission process was very smooth and I have so the eligibility of the course is 60% and to find the application form I have gone to the if I website and then we need to give the ibsat exam for which feees is 1800 rs of and after the exam the selected candidates were called for group discussion which can be offline and online according to covid norms and according to your rank you'll get the college as icfai has many branches all over india.

Admission:

Eligibility of the course mainly you need to be a Graduate and the application form, application fee and application dates were given on their official website. First of all, there were 2 rounds of tests for admission, mainly the first one was Entrance test which was IBSAT and the Second round was the GD round. After completing the first round only a student can go to the next round. The admission process is smooth and good.

Eligibility of PGDM in ICFAI Gurgaon was to achieve 50% marks in graduation and we had to clear the CAT exam with a good score. Application form, fees and dates can be found on their online site. The admission process was easy and flexible.

One can give any mba enterance exam to be eligible to take admission in IBS. They also have their own exam as well IBSAT. Application fees are 2500 before a pandemic one has to go to Hyderabad for the interview process, they should provide the option to give interviews from any campus.
