Tolani Maritime Institute Pune Faculty

The faculty at Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) is highly experienced, with many members being former sea captains, chief engineers, or retired navy personnel. The student-to-faculty ratio is approximately 40:1, allowing for individualized attention. There are around 200 faculty members, many of whom hold advanced degrees, including PhDs, and some are IIT graduates.

The curriculum includes 30% electrical and 70% mechanical content, and focuses on marine engineering and nautical science. Faculty members conduct frequent exams, with a 50% passing threshold, and offer additional support classes as needed.
