Brief review on SCEM

Likes

The instructors are helpful and informed. My technical foundation was strengthened by the majority of professors who provide clear explanations of concepts and are approachable for project guidance, mentoring, and doubt-solving.
With student clubs, seminars, and technical events, campus life is vibrant. Interaction with peers from diverse backgrounds enhanced confidence, communication abilities, and teamwork.
Regular training sessions, aptitude exercises, and simulated interviews are offered by the placement cell. The campus is visited by core and IT companies, and advice is given regarding internships and further education.

Dislikes

Although the curriculum does a good job of covering fundamental subjects, there are some areas where it is a little out of date. It would be more industry-relevant if it included more cutting-edge technologies and project-based learning.

Admission:

When I was applying for colleges, I explored a mix of government and private engineering colleges offering BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). I received confirmed admission offers from a few private colleges, but I ultimately chose this college because it felt like the best overall fit for my academic goals, affordability, and learning environment. And another reason was it is nearer to my home as well. Basically rejection is based on cet ranks. And it works in the same way most prestigious colleges give admissions to lowest cet rank holders. The admission process of this college was smooth. Eligibility: Minimum 60% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Exams accepted: KCET Cutoffs: Moderate cutoffs compared to government colleges, varying by category and branch Admission Modes: Entrance exam counselling and management.

Life of Sahyadrians

Likes

I liked the view of the college and the placement here even though it is a small campus you can expect nearly 200 companies visiting the college.
With this you can find people of various place you can get to know them.

Dislikes

There will be literally near to no fest in our college.
The teachers here are not too good to teach you beyond books and ppt and reading from it is only what you can expect.
Self study will be the only agenda to succeed and the faculty here are not friendly enough to discuss about your problem.

I had applied to St Joseph but placements here is good so I chose this. I got rejected from Nitte college due to low rank I could get into IT branch so I chose this. KCET and COMEDK are the exams accepted here and through the allotment you can get a seat in your desired branches depending on your rank.

Knowledge for keen learning

Likes

The college environment is really good. It lets you to interact with various students from different regions
My college is Mangalore getting to seek new language and new traditions
Also experienced the well developed lab and equipment which is very much necessary for developing skills and practical knowledge

Dislikes

The weather is to hot due to college located beside river banks
There little bit language barrier if we over come that
Campus had not digital payments in campus

Admission:

Compared to other college in these regions this college had better facilities for lab and placement training with newer methods of teaching like skill lab and different clubs. And placement for core companies is better here.

They have build good infrastructure and good canteen and sports ground
We have good placement opportunities by the college and japanese company are visiting our college now days
Good entertainment for the students by organising grand feast like SYNERIGYA

Dislikes

Class are to heavy for the students now days only focus on academic
College facilities are too costly for afford
Highway problem too much accident are taking over because of highway

I am opted the college through CET I have listed 26 colleges in CET form in mark road I got Visvesvaraya College bangalore later in first round I got Sahyadri engineering college in electronic and department with snq quota I have paid very less amount of money so I join the college I have planned to join in Bangalore but I like the college infrastructure placement I admission process very good I came to the college a very Fill my documents letter they I went to and computer the ask my all my details and took my all the documents and later the iPad my fees through cash and I better to all the uniforms from the college now

The ambience is very pretty it’s very green and the environment feels very welcoming
The faculty is very friendly and supportive
The crowd is my college is really fun and cool

Dislikes

Placement department is very bad and doesn’t give good placements
Teaching is very bad and they do not provide quality education
No events and fun activities at all in our college

Admission:

I got nitte university aiml branch. But I didn't go there because it was too far for me and I always wanted to do computer science . Sahyadri provided me with the computer science and engineering branch that I needed and hence I joined here

A true review of SCEM Mangalore by honest student POV

Likes

College has a good infrastructure and also a good lab infrastructure
They provide good opportunity for placements
They'll boost you to develop your skills through programs like skills lava and conducting many talent compitations in the campus

Dislikes

In someway they'll restrict us to go in our interested way
It is somewhat difficult to clear academics cause qp's are not student friendly
You'll not get good exposure in sports or any other activities rather than studies

Admission:

Cause I got it through my KCET. I had a good expectations over my results of KCET but in the end it was not that good so I had got to this college. As I told above my rank in KCET didn't go well so I decided to join after enquiring seniors. Admission process is all offline once you visit the campus they'll help in everything. Exams like KCET And Comed K are accepted here you can check the cutoff in KEA website

College has good campus , play ground hostel facilities

Faculties are well qualified and are well helpful
College is NBA recognaised and that helps in getting placed in good companies
Good infrastructure of the college , specious parking, food courts available, hostel facilities

Dislikes

College buses are only limited to mangalore

Admission:

• i had got a confirmed seat in st.josephs engineering college and srinivas engineering college but has one of the best records for the placements in mechanical engineering and it's quite common that each student will be dreaming to get a good job. • no i had applied for only these three colleges and got admission for applied colleges • admission is based on management seats or CET based seats . There will be CET ranking cut off for each branch . First preference will be giving to students having specified CET cutoff and rest it will depend .

infrastrucutre is good, campus is also good because infront of the ground we are having the Netravati river, near the college we are having Bonda Factory for drinking cocunut milkshakes, and ice-creams
If you are good in making projects you can ask with the faculty members also they can provide you the internships or they might help you to get connected with the industry based people for the realtime projects
In manlgore there are lots of place to visit, like temples, beaches

Dislikes

Teaching methods of Faculty members is not so good
Internet connection is not good, in hostels also we face lots of issue with our mobile networks also
Size of the campus is too small, its in the almost 6 to7 acres. which is the most disappointment. its like i am still in the school

Admission:

Its because of the innovation. Our college is good in doing the innovation parts. Our college is having many tie up between the industries so they keep on giving something so that student can contibute into the realtime projects
