Everything about RVCE you need to know

Likes

Improving Infrastructure such as digital boards , full wifi connectivity
Syllabus has been updated to match with current technology
Good placement drive and many reputed companies visits the college

Dislikes

Skill lab is not very useful and it is compulsory to attend
Sometimes the schedule can be hectic especially during the last 2 weeks of semester
Hostel food is not upto the standards of the college

Admission:

Initially I considered IITs ,NITs but due to obvious reasons (not getting selected ) I wrote COMEDK and was considering RVCE , MSRIT and BMSCE . As RVCE being the best among private college in whole of India (after BITS) , I was compelled to choose RVCE that to a circuit branch The admission process of my college includes 3 ways one is through KCET, one is through COMEDK and the last one is MANAGEMENT The students belonging to Karnataka prefers KCET because the fee is less and students from other states write COMEDK Cut offs vary year by year and the admission process of simple but time taking

The things I liked are the lab rooms and the assistant were too good and friendly . Newly installed systems.
Lecturer treat us as a friend help us during project and give innovative ideas for new project
In our campus we have a large cricket ground I liked it I like the nature and park areas in our campus

Dislikes

First thing is the big canteen is good but mini canteen is not clean as proper no seating system it's too rush
Construction is going on we are in old building ventilation and window were not cleaned well
Some lectures won't complete full syllabus they will complete only unit 1 remaining should be covered by us.

Admission:

I applied to PES university BTech but I got confirmed to RV college of engineering BE in CS . The placements were good in our college compare to PES campus selection ratio is high in our college. Actually in option entry I chose RV in top 1 place directly I opted to top college My ranking was good and I have reservation too. Our college has entrance exams like CET, COMEDK and management they will pay fee directly no exam for them. CET cut off is too high according to different departments for ours 200 is maximum.for comedk 1500 to 2000 max. Admission experience is good .

Likes

Teaching methodology is different from other universities
And proffesors are also highly qualified proffesors who are teaching for all the subjects
The infrastructure of college is well maintained and highly equipped labs also available

Dislikes

There is no dislikeful characterastics in college environment everything is well and good

Admission:

Mainlyfor choosing this college no other colleges providing the high package placcements comapring to the other colleges and they can provide internships . The faculty will guide us through the college ends thats the best faculty I ever seen in other colleges. And the Admission proccess also very smooth and easy to apply and joining for the course. I apply this college firstly only they accepted myprofile. The other colleges has didnt have this much facility for placements so I chose this college.

The library of the college which has been constructed recently is one of the biggest in bangalore and is a go to place
The canteen gives you a variety of food from north indian to south indian
The vibe of the college is very nice, although mostly academicly oriented

Dislikes

nothing as such everything is nice and chill
academically oriented but everything is fine
not a very/less sports oriented collegee

Admission:

RVCE is considered to be the top most college of bangalore. Bangalore in itself is an IT hib and rvce was the right choice to get oppurtunites and learn new skills and values. Other colleges were also good but none matches the legacy of RVCE here in banaglore

Rvce is known for its best placement opportunity and its average pacakge
Boys girls ratio is 5:1 pretty decent from other college
Faculty are all phd qualified and have a deep knowledge of thr subject

Dislikes

Campus size is small which is a biggest dislike for students
College discipline they are strict for 1st and 2nd ug students
Very much academic focused so you get less time for yourself

Admission:

As a student at RV College of Engineering (RVCE), I chose this institution over many others available through the COMEDK exam because of its outstanding reputation and strong industry connections. The admission process was straightforward: after completing my 12th grade with required subjects, I sat for the COMEDK UGET exam, which is a common entrance test for numerous engineering colleges in Karnataka. Despite the higher tuition fees associated with COMEDK admissions compared to state quotas, I believed that RVCE's emphasis on research, innovation, and excellent placement opportunities made it the best choice for my engineering education.

I mean the placements are good compared to other private colleges
The campus is big enough.Every department has their own building and seminar hall.
The labs are good. Even the curriculum is well made.

Dislikes

Some teachers are not that good, i mean they are old sometimes they are not good at teaching.
Most part of the campus is under construction.

Admission:

Well RV is in Bangalore, it was near and easy to travel. I got bits goa economics, but my parents said RV is good so i joined.And the economics course was a 5 year course.So i chose this.I wanted to join electronics anyway.I tried for ec but i got et , so i joined in the first round of allotment.U can come through kcet, comedk, management.

Very calm, the crowd is very friendly and not toxic like other colleges
The faculty is so good , like everyone pushes uou to achieve and grow no one is toxic
The curriculum and grading is also emphasising on projects rather than assignments

Dislikes

Since so much is there , they always start and end late
Sports and feat activities are zero, u can expect one fest in the whole yr
Construction is always going ok in the campus and rvu students are getting more facilities than you

Admission:

I selected this because it's the best college in the city, good placements and crowd , very engaging But apart from that it may be expensive but it's bigger campus and cooler stuff happens here and overall it's great

I got admission in VITEEE and all colleges of COMEDK . I didn't go there because of high intake of VITEEE and among COMEDK colleges RVCE happens to be the best . The eligibility for giving comedk is 12th pass and minimum 75 percent

Likes

The library of the college is very good and it has a large number of books
The teachers are well was and very good in their subject
The clubs in the campus are very good and they offer a lot of opportunities to learn

Dislikes

Some teachers are little strict and don't give a marks.
The college has a lot of construction work going on in it
The campus is very small and very congested

Admission:

I apply to various other universities like BMS and PES UNIVERSITIES but rvce is way better than all the colleges because it has a better placement rate and the syllabus is also up to Mark always and the Teachers are also well was your this subject and and most of the peoples have the PHD degree in the subject that a teaching now I did not face any rejection from other colleges the admission process of this college this quite sample it is either through KCET ,comedk, mangement quota . The most preferred exam is usually CET or comedk. The admission for through comedk slightly costly but Kcet it is worth it.

What rank is required for RVCE CSE?

As per the previous year's cutoff analysis, you may required to get a rank between 93 to 258 rank in KCET for the Btech CSE from the RV College of Engineering for the general category. And RVCE, COMEDK UGET Cutoff for General Category may vary from 169 to 299 rank. Candidate must have a minimum of 70% in Science and Mathematics Subjects separately in 10^th Class. Candidate must have a minimum of 65% in Physics and Mathematics Subjects separately in 11^th Class. Candidate must have a minimum of 60% in Physics and Mathematics Subjects separately in 12^th Class.
