The library truly amazing, providing a conductive and positive environment for studying.
The faculty is well educated and trained,they solve all the problems which we have and they give good suggestions as well,they also arrange the some hackathon programs every year as well and some good campaigns are also available....
The presence of multiple scholership opportunities enhaces accessibility to education.

Dislikes

the second thing i disliked about my college is in summer there is a issue about drinking water for student, when we complain about it to principal but they do not even solved the problem in summer then we have to face that issue sometime in summer.
I dislike my collage fesility of our class. Class are so dirty.
INTERNAL DISPUTES BETWEEN THE MANAGEMENT AND TEACHERS AND ALSO TRANSPORTION IS VERY VERY BAD AND TO BE HONEST EXPECT COMPUTER AND IT DEPARTMENT EVERY DEPARTMENT IS IGNORED

The G.E.C.gandhinagar for great placement

Faculty of g.e.c. Gandhinagar is very helpful for mentoring students and help them for any institute level work.
For places and careers college conducts placement guidences sessions for interview preparation
Teaching method of all professor is very nice

Dislikes

The condition of classrooms are very poor.

Placement Experience:

Students eligible for placement in 4 th year or 6 th semester. Students are eligible for internship from 3rd year or 5 th semester Company like TCS ,Infosys,Microsoft,nvidia ...etc are visited for placement offers Highest package by TCS is 12 LPA. Highest package for Infosys is 8LPA. Any student who studied in GEC Gandhinagar get average package of 5-8LPA 20-30 percentage students are getting placed in this college My plans after getting the degree is masters from abroad

Affordable Govt. College with practical experience

Likes

The teaching quality is solid. most faculties explain concepts well and are supportive if you are willing to learn.
The campus environment is peaceful and spacious, which makes daily collage life comfortable.
the crowd is friendly you get to meet students from different cities, and the tech culture here is growing with more events and clubs.

Dislikes

Internship & placement exposure could be better. more big companies should visit the campus.
Extracurricular activities and technical events are fewer compared to well known institutes.
Administration and documentation work somtimes take more time than expected.

Placement Experience:

Placement at GEC Gandhinagar are decent but not as strong as the top engineering college in Gujarat while a few repeatable companies visit the frequency and variety could be better many students with good gpas and project work seek your decent job either through the collegial or by actively applying on their own for those who dont get campus placement the college still provide a solid foundation you can pursue higher studies take certification course or enter the IT or core industry thought of campus jobs overall the experience prepares you sufficiently for the next step But its wise to Proactive about your career.

The college life

Likes

The helpful nature some faculty and staff members
Provides industrial visit to various industries
Helping nature of seniors and batchmates

Dislikes

Almost no curricular and cultural activity being organised by the college faculty
There is no attendance structure making the classes irregular
Some lecturers would never show up for the lectures

The amount of events and curriculum organised by the college is really less as for the curricular activities in a year there would be event organised by the students which would contain various activities.

Academic and Campus Life At GEC Gandhinagar

Likes

Overall campus placement of the college is best I think. Surrounded by greenery all around the college. Away from pollution.
The administration and teaching staff is also good in all aspects: regarding their teaching methods, their code of conduct.

Dislikes

The one thing I seriously dislike about it is the conditions of the washrooms. Some of them are not even usable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Metallurgical Department is very good and the best in terms of their teaching methods. All the faculty members are friendly. Their teaching methods are also good, as I have heard from my seniors, but I have yet to be under their guidance. Starting the next semester, I would be in their guidance.

Collage campus is so cool and faculty are good
Faculties character is so amazing , all departments are in different building
Senior arrange Days and some events for their junior

Dislikes

Some time placement offers not available for good student
Some teachers are so strict and bored lecture
Clg cleaning some time not do properly .

Placement Experience:

Final year student are eligible for campus placement, government engineering college Gandhinagar of department of electronics communication letest placement package is 5 to 6 lakhs, 7 to 9 CGPA are enough for placement

The campus is really huge and well maintained
The culture is good all kind of people study together
It's one of the top rankings college in Gujarat

Dislikes

The class room are average and huge so last person can't hear properly.
Most of the time teacher were out for some work so no class
There are not many big events in campus or else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because in future it has really good scope. Now as we all know that in new Dholera city many semiconductor plants have established. it's difficult in study this course as compared to IT and CE.

we have supportive faculties who always inspires students and guide them very well
our college infrastructure is very good and student friendly environment
senior student often mentor junior in academic preparation

Placement opportunities could be better.
there is no mess facility for hostel student
there is no near by hospital for Emergency

After completing 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement.Average packge of our college is 3.5 lack to 4 lack and Highest Packge of our college is 7 lack.40-60% students are getting placement through campus placement.After getting Degree I am planning to do masters

Pros and Cons of Gecg

Likes

There are some experienced and helpful professors in our department.
The Senior Students are helpful here too. Our college also arranges an Alumni meet once in year.
The Infrastructure is quite modern and the campus is big.

Dislikes

The Hostel in our college lacks Mess facility.
The restrooms are not clean enough and there is no water sometimes.
As heard from the seniors, there is a lack of assistance for internship.

Placement Experience:

From what I have heard from some senior students, the placements offered in our college are not so good. Most of the students have to look for Off-Campus Placements. Only about 40% students are accepted from the campus placement.

My Review about my college facilities

Likes

I like the teachers, their supports, the aminities of the college, etc.
Second thing which i like the most is Internship oprtunities and our faculties support us to make a best carrier
Third thing is the infrastructure of a college

Dislikes

I dislike the most which is some times our faculties are not arrive in a time
I dislike the college canteen, which is very ugly
I dislike a college garden, however not all, but it is very bad because some dogs toilets there. But others are very clean because there is no permission for dogs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My rate for this (information technology) course is 100% . i like it most. in this course, i learn the future based work like programming, networking, real words projects, etc , so yes it is very comprehensiveness. and i think it is moderately difficult for me but i can done this one.

College is some out of area,near no bus stop, many time not any autorickshaw.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of teaching methods is same of every GTU under college . Teaching curriculum is old but same in every college not any upgraded.mid-sem exam in mid semester means half of end semester and after ending sem Gtu exam is final.
