Government Engineering College Idukki Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 6th-semester students can attend placements but some companies do not take the students with back papers. companies like TCS Infosys are companies which come for the placement. about 40% of our students get into campus placement,40% will get placed for the private placement done by the companies, and the rest 20% goes to higher studies. am planning to go for higher studies after my bachelor's degree completion.

This is a very nice collage. The students ratio is also is very nice and the teaching facilities is also very good. The faculty is very talented and the review about the teaching is also very good. The term exams was very timely and all of us have got very nice marks because of the good teaching.

1) it was a Government engineering College (No Fee)2)The college situated in Idukki3) The climate in idukki4) The natural beauty of Idukki5) Lot of tourist places near by6) The temperature in my College place was always between 8-25 which is a factor for me to join7) It's not a peaceful place8) Can do lot of activities in weekends (Trekking, Swimming from Water falls,etc)9)The disadvantages are to go to home i need to travel alot.Idukki to cochin will be very fun ride because we go through a forest area.But after that it's very bad experience10) Another disadvantage is we don't get a town experience in there

VLSI and embedded systems is a rare course in Kerala, Gec Idukki is one of the govt college which provides this course, Moreover they provides scholarship depending on marks obtained in previous sem. Hostel facility are also provided with less fees

The place where the college is located and the tuition is minimum. Government college has its own reputation. The college has experienced faculties and the certificate from the college has its own value.
