Vidhi Samvad is a distinguished initiative of the School of Legal Studies, Vikrant University, Gwalior, envisioned as a vibrant platform for dialogue, deliberation, and dissemination of legal knowledge. Derived from Sanskrit, Vidhi means “law” and Samvad means “dialogue,” reflecting the forum’s objective of encouraging meaningful discussions on justice, constitutional values, and public service. The initiative promotes critical thinking, collaborative learning, and awareness of the legal and democratic framework of the nation.

On 2nd October 2025, Vikrant University organized “Vidhi Samvad – A Lecture on Judicial Dialogue” in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Justice J.K. Maheshwari, Judge of the Supreme Court of India. The session was chaired by Hon’ble Shri Narendra Singh Tomar Ji, Speaker of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, and witnessed the gracious presence of Hon’ble Justice Anil Verma, Hon’ble Justice Shri Vivek Jain, Hon’ble Justice Shri G.S. Ahluwalia, Hon’ble Justice Shri D.D. Bansal, and Hon’ble Justice Shri Hirdesh Srivastava, Judges of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh. The event also brought together eminent advocates, academicians, industrialists, and students from various institutions, making it a remarkable platform for legal and constitutional discourse.

During the lecture, Hon’ble Justice J.K. Maheshwari emphasized the importance of constitutional values and the judiciary’s role in safeguarding justice, equality, freedom, and fraternity. He appreciated Vikrant University’s efforts in creating a meaningful platform for legal dialogue and research. The event also featured an impressive legal display by university students and concluded with an interactive session.

On the occasion, the dignitaries inaugurated the university’s newly constructed Pharmacy Block, “Charak.” For students, Vidhi Samvad served as an inspiring interaction with the spirit of the Constitution, encouraging them to view law not merely as a profession, but as a responsibility toward society and humanity.
