THE FINE COLLEGE Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University

Likes

Faculties are best they are enough qualified to teach
university have good computer labs enough to do coding
hostel room have enough space to live 2 or 3 people

Dislikes

faculties are good but some of them know nothing about their subject except their ego
lab attendant have more attitude then the professor
in the hostel mess food is very unhygienic

Dev bhoomi uttarakhand University from my experience

Likes

Placement cell is quite support . Ensures to provide best placements
Teachers aree supportive towards your career choices and guiding you
Strict . Penalties and fines. That maintains the decorum

Dislikes

The location I think it's in not in good location far from main city.

Placement Experience:

As I am a bba student and I have 3 year of course duration so students starts doing internship from 2nd year and. Placements aree provided from 3 year. By college The highest page goes of 12 lpa in bba and average goes of 5lpa . Approx 80% students get placed .I am planning to do my masters afterwards. Major companies like Amazon and many more visits to our college

Affordable college in Dehradun

Likes

College fee is affordable and can afford anybody
Projector e quipped classes . Teacher connect their laptop with it
The Campus is so big and lush green and nature friendly

Dislikes

Washrooms are so unhygienic and bad and smell bad
Poor wifi network in college and for only hostel students.
Some faculties are poor at teaching and bad behavior

Internships Opportunities:

I am in third semester i am dont know most about companies and placement but doing internship in my course is compulsory after 1 year and one after 2 year. I have social internship after 1 year and will do after 2 nd year.

My college life

Likes

I like the classroom size and facilities are also too good.
The corridor was also big in size and there is two cleaniness for the students.
Teachers was also of good behaviour and students as their childrens.

Dislikes

I didn't like the strict rules that made for the students
Like is the celebrate anything the charge for the arrangements
I also dislike the food of canteen because it's smells like it was of yesterday night.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship available for me are of science I gattu excited for the upcoming opportunities after seeing the internship offers for me. I got different type of projects during the internship and the outcomes of every project was unexpected and excited also.

Likes

Nature around the University is good and time table is good
Faculty gives their support to students and collage staff is good
The collage is surrounded by mountains and beautiful Nature

Dislikes

Their placement is low that shown in their poster
Most of the students are addicted to smoking around campus
In class room their is no AC and projecter is not stable at a point

Internships Opportunities:

The collage conduct 3 intership compalsary for all . In first year online intership and in second year the collage povide intership and in third intership is done by Student in any company and all and have to make some projects for placement

Overall good college according to fees

Likes

The faculties support here is very good .
They are very supportive and tend to solve the problem faced by students any time .
The environment is good and suitable for studies

Dislikes

The campus size is not that much big and intersting.
The campus main canteen is bit overpriced according to the quality
The behaviour of the vice chancellor is very rude .

Internships Opportunities:

The internships are not offered here with college generally, but there are tie ups with some companies so that students can do the internship. Like now a internship season is started and the college has a tie up with Microsoft and I don't know the roles offered.

Likes

College campus was good enough to take pictures and playing ground was large enough for the sports
There are various facilities for sports courts like basketball, volleyball, badminton, kabbadi, and football. College organise various sports events in the college.
There are various events organised by the college like manthan for placement, pinak for college fest , bazaar for management students, sports , etc.

Dislikes

College has no water storage facility. Whenever rain occurs water were stored in the gate way routes.
Cafeteria food was not good as well as it was expensive.
College construction was not upto the as wall are half painted .

Internships Opportunities:

College provides the internship opportunities to the students and students are offered internship with stipend and a post- internship certificate. There are projects related to the internship which was prepared by the students.

Opinions of freshers for freshers

Likes

I liked that the teachers and faculty are very supportive towards students.
The campus is also very good not too big and not too small.
this college is also value for money cuz u will get all the facilities as higher fee college in low fees.

Dislikes

I disliked the criteria of 75% compulsory overall attendence.
The timing of the college is also a problem cuz i am one of the student who comes from 60KM away from college and timing is 9AM to 4PM cuz of which by bus we arrive late
The amount of curricular activites is way too much like every week some new club will come and announce a new activity (Not Compulsory To Attend)

Internships Opportunities:

Major companies like Microsoft , Infosys , TCS , Tata , Adobe , HDFC and many more companies are the companies which offers internships and placements at our college. I don't know much about projects and major projects but I guess u need a major project for final year and one project every sem to keep ur profile high.

Or labs, classrooms and environment of college is very nice with all grenery and well maintained labs with well maintained classrooms with projector and also sitting arrangement of students in a classroom
Or faculty was very supportive and nice.
Infrastructure is the only thing which was I like in my University.

Dislikes

There is not enough jio signals to access internet.
Lots of tests, quiz, and examinations😭😭

Internships Opportunities:

Like in my University, there is several top companies like wipro, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, and many more which I didn't know about them. like I'm in first year so I didn't know about the internship's job role and stipend offered by companies.

Likes

The college campus is filled with Greenery and the faculties are also nice.
Mess and canteen food is also very tasty .
Hostel rooms are of enough size to fit comfortably.

Dislikes

The crowd is mostly from Bihar /UP but that's not the problem the main problem is that they lack civic sense and college doesn't not even take any action on it.
Washrooms are mostly dirty idk when they last cleaned it.

Internships Opportunities:

TCS- sales manager : Avg package around 4-6LPA Infosys- Web developer: 3-5.5LPA Capgemini: Junior web developer -2.5-3.7LPA these are some mass recruiter which give very common and average package to studnets.
