The college is praised for its knowledgeable and supportive faculty, especially Dr. Babita Shrivastav and Dr. Choubey, who excel in teaching Organon of Medicine and Materia Medica. The course spans four years, culminating in final exams each March or April, with a high pass rate of about 100 out of 114 students. Typically, two to three faculty members teach each subject to 125 students, fostering accessible learning, though some, like Dr.

Ganesh Sakya and Dr. Hari Singh Chaurasiya, are noted for being less interactive. After the degree, a one-year internship is mandatory, with a stipend around 8,000 to 9,000 INR per month for 6-hour daily shifts. This internship involves work in various departments both on-campus and externally. Stipend deductions occur for absences. While stipends are common in government colleges, private college students can intern at other hospitals for payment if they are skilled.

Scholarships are available, including the Medhaavi for general students and Post Metric for SC, ST, and OBC students. The total course fee is around 335,000 INR, with first-year costs at 73,750 INR, including a 10,000 INR caution fee. Fees for the subsequent years are 42,500 INR for the second and third years, and 53,750 INR for the final year.
