I chose this college because of its academic history and its alumni success stories. Also it has the convinience of being in the same city as I am in which makes it possible for me to save the mess fees. Budget friendly fee structure. Suitable environment around.

Remarks:

this is the first private engineering college in assam.The result and the placement is very good.as the record of previous students the faculty of this college is very sincere.The technology of this college is outstanding.I am not secure an education loan.

Remarks:

Nothing special.I didn't get admission into another Institute/University because of low entrance marks or rank So I had to choose this Institute. The college environment is good.

Remarks:

GIMT was the first private engineering college in Assam and the fee structure is low compared to other private engineering college.Also the faculty's were way to good and the facilities were up to mark.

Remarks:

It is the first private college of assam. And being a private college it provide immense facilities for students. The faculties are really good. Placements are also pretty well. Hostel are located within the college campus. So it becomes very convenient for students to attend the classes.

Remarks:

I choosed because my CEE marks which was 92 at that time was not enough to get admission in govt engineering colleges and the OBC cut off was 120+. So, in Whole northeast Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology is the no 1 and the oldest private engineering college and I decided to take admission there.

Remarks:

Because it is near to my city and my sister suggested about it to me. I like about their strict laws in our institute. I opted the course because i want to be a civil engineer, it was my aim from the beginning.

Remarks:

Positive - only the faculties. Negative - no infrastructure. No fund. No nothing. No auditorium. Really low fund even for college fest. No time for extra curriculum. No proper placement. The college do not have a proper boundary too. However the college is trying to expand and hence may be that is the reason. I don't know what the plans are.
