~the exponential growth of data science and its application in real world problems influenced my decision to pursue BCA in data science. ~the BCA data science curriculum effectively prepares me for real world applications and further academic pursuits .witha blend of theoritical foundations and practical projects. ~In curriculum , teaching methods , assesments and evalution ,infrastructure and resources. ~mid term exams,end term exams, quizzes and assignments

I loved computer science so i took this course. Our curriculum prepares us really well for real world aspects as it provides us a very good exposure. It depends on faculties, course curriculum is good, but some faculties fails to teach those properly. timings is 1 and half hour for midterm and 3 hours for endterm.

Placement is ok , not very good but not bad. And the best placement in the college is mainly for mba and bca students. The placement for btech and other courses aren't great compared to bca and mba . The avg package for bca is around 4-5 lpa and highest package for overall placement is around 14lpa Some companies are hcl, dell,tata,capgemini etc . The no of companies around 30-60. The percentage of the placement is around 97% My plans after getting degree are for gaining experience for 2-3 years and going for masters abroad. Which the plans might change due to the situation of the industry market and other environments.

Our university is collabrated with many companies in the banglore city and the placement training also will be given by the university and the placement will be in th top companies and also startups too

Placements are offered by university and it's starts when the student is in final year of his/her degree .many companies visits our university like TCS, Infosys,tech Mahindra etc the average package is around 4 to 5 LPA and highest is 12LPA .90% of students get placed.and my plan is the same to get into a job

I'll be frank in total academic will be finished in 6 months only i insist this and I say university can improve by giving some more time to students to know about knowledge and course curriculum consists good outcome only i would like to say please give students some time to settle

I choosem BcA in data science why i choose this course bcz i want to became a data scientists my university helped ne lot to become data scientists i thought to choose btech but due to some reason i opt bca in presidency i lover their teaching and curriculum

Infosys, Deloitte, TCS and other who all have their Indian head quarters here are some of the companies that have seen our potential. We do their projects and have been sticked with the curriculum that is beneficial for them and that is why even BCA students are offered jobs worth 50-60k at Presidency University.

Our college is offering placements but the packages offered are very low. For example, Accenture has come for the 1st round in our college. They are offering 3 - 4 LPA for non tech roles, to tech students. And they are offering the opposite to commerce students which really does not make any sense. If I am investing my 3 years of studies into computer applications, it is not to get into any sales job or something, it is to actually apply what ive learnt and earn something out of it.

My college does provide placement and companies like Deloitte, Amazon, google have come for the placement, students from 2nd year are eligible for campus placement. Getting into placement makes it easy for the student to get into job or else the student has to go to different different companies and it is gonna be very hectic
