Starting with the infrastructure, it's beautiful , the uniqueness and design is just illusionary , and the greenery in rainy season makes me feel so good and amazing, it's overall peaceful, our college is neither too strict not too lineant
The college claims to have many well-reputed companies to provide placements it also avails good packages for every student based on their talent.
Being with faculty it's a good experience because they are very helpful and very good at teaching and making understand thinks and most important are very helpful and very interactive and can easily clear pur doubts

Dislikes

Cet it's 110000 for management it's approximately 4lakh per year we get ssp scholarship no job in campus no much financial assistance from college u pay fees.
Very poor hostel fecilities are provied and the fees is too high.
I disliked the time table of our college. it is very hectic some days. from morning 8:30 to evening 4:20.

REVA - A palce to explore

Likes

I like the green environment around me as there are around 1500 tress within the campus.
The faculties that accompany as are very skilled and very interactive
The campus provides good placement oppurtunities in all the fields

Dislikes

One of the thing that id ont like int he campus is the fees for my course is high. I dont think so all the students out there can afford it.
I dont like the penalty system that is been implemented on the students who fail to pay the fees within the given duration.
As i have completed one year in this college i felt there is some religion based descrimination within the campus, which i do not like.

Placement Experience:

For placements students are eligible from 5th semester. There are number of companies coming for placements, as i am still in third sem i dont have much idea about it. The highest package got in our college was 15 LPA.

My honest review: College life, curriculum and career preparation

Likes

My college provides a solid academic foundation with well qualified faculty members and hands-on lab sessions.
Girls to boys ratio in my course is 60:40 -70:30. The science and biotech streams has higher female students creating a comfortable environment.
campus life is active with several student run clubs, cultural events and workshops.

Dislikes

Our course tend to have less days for semester end breaks with generally lees than a month.
Our course do not provide with internship opportunities.
There is not much hands on bioinformatics lab sessions

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

REVA University: The Green Revolution

Likes

Infrastructure is serene with a Green Campus
Faculty is qualified and takes care to improve student understanding
Industry Exposure is good especially with organisations taking time to send professionals

Dislikes

Fee structure could be altered with the number on the expensive side
Not a lot of scholarships available for students of merit
No support for internships with a lot of weightage on College placements that provide only mediocre packages

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Subjects that are taught here are very relevant to the outside world with the curriculum being handled by the subject matter experts from the industry. THe curriculum provides a decent overview on the world outside college. However, most of the academic classes showcase demonstration rather tan hands on practical approach. This renders most of the teaching moot. The frequency of the exams is relatively at ease with the ongoing curriculum.

REVA is good for exposure and connectivity for MBA

The ambience which was very disciplined and well coordinated
The lush green campus and i feel my university has the best campus in karnataka or might be best in india.
The staff and management are all good in sense of communication and student friendly.

Dislikes

Found out the bad quality of education , because all of a sudden in second semester they introduced us python without teaching basics
The overall aura of teachers is very mild and not that great .
Not passionate about research , they want just us to grab jobs and settle but not push us into research or give us own ideas.

Placement Experience:

They start campus placements for almost 2 year only because already we are at phase of learning and once we complete 2nd year we can apply and eligible . We visited bengaluru bio innovation centre , HAL laboratory , other companies in tamil nadu Highest package offered is 16 lakhs per annum for the bsc job which is very good but also very rare Approx 50 persent student got placed but others applied for higher studies My plans are for starting enterpreneurship journey

I'm in BSc. MCG, everything is fine but the teachers, I do not like few teachers, specially there is one of my teacher who teachers in such a way that if u sit in first bench or the last u cannot hear him, even if u stand right next to him u can't hear him. And then they blame the students that we don't concentrate. Other than that course us good lab r provided

Teachers are helpful n reachable for any queries
Infrastructure is great and has all arrangements for food in campus
Lot of scope for cultural and extra curricular activities

Dislikes

Timing’s vary and we are informed at the last moment
Not good management with the time and curriculum
Encouragement is not provided for internships

Placement Experience:

There are placements for other courses but for my course there is no placement as after bsc it is not ideal to find a job in the field of biotechnology. We can get placements after msc or after phd. Hence neither do we get placements nor do i want placements at this point

The Student point of view

Likes

Environment of the collage and infrastructure
Teachers are very qualified and helpful towards the student
I am blessed to have friends from this college

Dislikes

75 percent attendance mandatory and absent msg for parents
They are not bmtc bus available to Shivaji Nagar
Teachers are helpful but the managing HOD is very rude towards students

Placement Experience:

The are placement sections where the company have the talk and select the students but they will be. Some people are good at communication skills but not in theory and practical which can also cause effect the students.

Likes

The campus is green and very well maintained and has good nature
The studies are average compared to the fee and the rules and regulations there are good
Proper notes and tests are given and teachers are very friendly

Dislikes

There are no proper notes provided sometimes
Not comfortable with the timings of the exams
Lab are not taken on time and no proper attendance is maintained

This course was choisedd because I had a dream of working in hospitals and to become doctor unfortunately I wasn't able to fulfil my dream so I took as radiology technician so that I could work in hospitals

We like the infrastructure, some courses which are not available in the other universities and institutions.
We appreciate the support made by the rave team to help students approach what they want to.
Supportive faculty, knowledgeable teachers, safety and security hygiene maintenance in and nearby the premises, food of the food court specially dahi vada, cakes

Dislikes

Infrastructure is too good that it increases our time to reach to the respective classes when we are already late.
The huge crowd of people when it's late to the class in morning and near Maggie point because of several schools.
Teachers and students clashes with regards to mood swings of the teacher or the student misbehaving at times

Placement Experience:

The placements in Reva University are really good when we hear about them from the seniors and it denotes that the placements all depends on the cgpa as the companies offer a higher amount of payment of salary to the people with good cgpa, no doubt Reva has successfully accomplished a salary payment of 8LPA for a student of other courses but we are still to go.

My Reva experience

Likes

Campus is so good and the infrastructure will fall in love
Placement is quite good u will love it and the package is also nice on your first job
Food is good in college like the cafeteria is good u find every dishes

Dislikes

They are very strict for their rules and regulations
The attendance is also a big problem they will not allow you if u have less than 75 percentage
Very long hours they took u sometimes felt boring

Placement Experience:

They are good for placements but in India biotechnology is not so much grown now so don't expect more now and yes college gives proper information about your placements and also help you for getting a college placements

The fee per year is INR 1.3 lakhs for the BCom at the REVA University, Bangalore. The total fee is INR 3.9 lakhs. Aspirants seeking admission to Full-time B.Com Program should have passed in PUC / 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks of any recognized Board / Council or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
