Likes
- They take a keen interest in teaching students and love to solve students' doubts.
- The placement and training cell at nit uk is doing great works in past years with helping students get better opportunites in their 3rd year by getting interships from various companies to kickstart their careers out in the real world.
- The thing that i like is how the students celebrate every festival
Dislikes
- Mess food is really bad for the fee we pay, with little variety.
- Hostels are good if you have a good company, but the mess food is disaster, you will get trouble to habitate yourself for the food.
- One thing which is not to be overlooked is the hostel mess food for which we pay in advance which is not taken care of even after the frequent complaints by the students.

- First and foremost thing I like is the weather and view of the surroundings
- The college is close to many beautiful places like valley of flowers, kedarnath, badrinath, haridwar, gangotri etc
- Stunning view of Alakananda river which flows just besides the college
Dislikes
- No permanent campus. It is a temporary campus but the permanent campus is being built
- Food is average but what I heard is that they improved the food quality
- Transportation is bit difficult after haridwar
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements after 6th semester. Samsung, cicsco, optym, accenture etc will visit the campus for every year.
Highest - 16 lakhs (this year)
Average - 9 lakhs
30 to 40 % will be placed.
Mostly I want to do a job in a company.

- There are less distractions in Srinagar like there are no clubs and all, so you can focus on your studies better and also the environment here is good and clean.
- There is less hectic schedule for CSE branch, there is very less college pressure so you have a lot of time to explore different opportunities.
- Placements are decent for CSE branch (in IT sector).
Dislikes
- There is no permanent campus like other NITs of IITs.
- College schedule is hectic for ECE and EEE branch, you will have not much time for other activities.
- Placements are not so good for branches other than CSE.
Placement Experience:
Placements are decent for CSE branch. But for other baranches very few companies visit on campus. Also for other branches your Cgpa should be good to be eligible for companies.If you have interest in your core branch(other than CSE) than it is better to preparing for Gate in early stage(like start preparing from 2nd year).

- The faculty is very good and are of PhD level but in my branch the PhD is vere. Low only 3 PhD teachers are there.
- I want to improve the campus and also want to engage students in sports
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not good the college campus is not permanent it's on leas
- The placement are not at the level there are low placement and the average package is also not so high
- Low engagement with campus life and there are less sports ground for the sports activities
Placement Experience:
From 7 semester students are eligible for the placements and are eligible to sit in campus placement.
Companies like TCS, samsung, Infosys, Axtencture ect companies are regularly comes in campus for placement.
The heights package offered is approx 20 lpa and average package is 15 lpa .
50 percent student is getting placement.
I want to work in a good company after degree.

- The hostel facilities are very well enough. High speed lan is provided with modern facilities.
- Every year there is a trip to badrinath and kedarnath from college side no added fee.
- The faculties are very friendly in nature.
Dislikes
- College need to word on alumni connections.
- College need to work on placement drives.
- Canteen facilities are not such good only one canteen is there.
Placement Experience:
From semester 7 student become placement eligible.
Mainly Accenture, oracle, Samsung, Global foundries, etc in my branch
Highest package is 25lakh this year and avera12lakh
Around 70-80% got placed.
I want placement and then higher studies.

- Location is super natural and tht makes it special
- The beautiful city and its market gives us a perfect vibe
- The breakfast at canteen is so cheap and tasty

- Again location because after 6 pm you can't go to different palces
- Infrastructure is still in making mode that I sworse
- Labs and classes runs at different places

After 6 semester student become eligible for placement and if you talk about companies only mass hire is going to happend except u applied it at your own otherwise from,4 to 8 lpa you have varry
Well in CS all got placement and in other it's like 20% if you have knowledge of coding too
My plans was very clear I have to start something at my own nd I m doing that

- Faculty is soo good supportive and well educated from good colleges like nit and iit
- Labs facilities is too good all types of machines is available
- Club are quite active and perform all type of activity
Dislikes
- Campus is not permanent soo to much probleydue to stay in polytechnic campus
- Hostel is too load new hostel are under construction
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester a student is eligible for placement. A quiet good company is visit our college for placement companies like adobe, Samsung, l&t, etc. visit with good number of offer. This sem highest on campus placement is 30lakh and average package of 12lakh approx. 90%student got placed and 10%go for higher studies.my plan is to go for psu.

- Due to small number of students in college, professor focus on individual students more so it increases their teaching capacity as professor know names of almost all students an slowly know them personally that's a great benefit for development of
- Students. Moreover due to overall less strength of college,students also know almost every other student and it is very beneficial for students social life.Those who love to travel there are a lot of places nearby as college is situated in mountains
- For students who want to pursue electronic and want to further work in VLSI, its very good as most of the expensive softwares like tcad and cadence are available here in labs.
Dislikes
- Campus of college is very small so you are in loss on campus basis and won't have a late night campus life. Town is small so most of famous brands like KFC, Dominos are not available and the town even lacks a movie theatre
- Clubs don't work in our college and placements are only given to capable students

From 7 semester students are eligible for campus placement and internship opportunities
Many companies like NVIDIA, Samsung and Intel visit campus offer packages between 10 to 25 lakhs
Almost 50% students get placed in campus

- Bad classroom, broken infrastructure, less students
- Less chance to do innovative things, bad campus
Placement Experience:
Very less placement in civil engineering branch
Placement in Computer science and technology engineering and mechanical engineering is good
Other branches average placement
My plan is to give UPSC civil services

- There will be a good educational environment

- Our faculties are too helpful which is a great part of our college

- Our campus infrastructure is not as much good as other nits has
- There will no more option for mess facilities
- Transportation issues from haridwar to our college is not as much good specially at evening time due to hilly area

There will be a p2c cell which is placement cell of our college which take care of our college placements.
Student is in 3rd year are applicable for seat in placements.
Our college placements cell help us to call as much companies as much possible
