Also some scholarships are available for students like single child scholarship and score above cgpa 60% are eligible to apply for scholarship.
The faculty is good and their qualifications are very much impressive and they are supportive too and whenever the students need any guidence or help related to their studies the teachers are always welcoming them with their open arms .
The college conducts the induction programme for our best and also the program for the student who has an interest in sport, drama, dance, and singing they also get the chance to show their talent.

Dislikes

Conditions of fans and lights in many classes is not at all good
The internal number of the faculty is much lower than in other colleges.
The college staff's behavior is behavior is very bad also the teacher's behavior is very bad.

P.N Das College: An educational institute of excellence

Likes

Academic atmosphere is excellent and classes are very regular.
Professional Add on courses are conducted free of cost.
Most classrooms are ICT enabled with Learning Management System and Departmental websites with teaching materials.

Dislikes

Too much emphasise on regular attendance.
There are too many add on courses conducted

College is under Ramakrishna Mission so you can imagine the discipline. Fully disciplined college no ragging.
Good . You have to balance with disciplined college.

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

The faculties of Zoology, Botany, Chemistry departments faculties are very helpful towards students.
labs in chemistry and botany departments are good and very helpful in our studies.
campus life is quite good, but the improvement is needed.

Dislikes

Zoology department practical facilities is bang average. the room for zoology labs is there but it's too much short and some of the equipment aren't there.
some of the college classrooms are too much short.
Some of the official staffs behave too bad and is too helpful towards students.

The course curriculum is relevent towards competitive exams. Some of my course contents prepares us for real life applications like herbal plants, medicine, kit during survival. smart boards, real life sample, 3D objects should be implemented in classrooms. The exam difficulty level is quite good but the frequency and timing of the exam during 2nd year is too much worse for the students.

Dislikes

Some facilities, such as libraries or laboratories, may be outdated or insufficient.
Too much political pressure, Student politicians used to force students for joining the political rally or political summit
They used to be biased towards the students who follows there values

Honest review for my college

Likes

Teachers are very helpful they teach us every topic in details
I made good friends over there. They are really good and polite
Teachers are very Careful for us they worry about our future and give us good suggestions.

Dislikes

Sometimes teachers are absent for their respective classes.
Some friends just want us for benifits. They are not good as much.
Some teachers are strict and not giving us the right path.

I have choosen zoology hons and i think i have taken the best decision because i want to know more about animals, nature etc . Difficulty level increases per semester we just need to be careful while reading a topic.

RKMVCC is a great college NIRF 3 in 2024

Environment is plesant and it is totaly ragging free
Professors are too good and friendly. They alaways help us
It is a college of festival and seminars.

Dislikes

It is boys college but it has it's own benefit also.
It has no hostel at all. You have to rent any mess or PG
The study pressure is too high you have to attended all the classes and take proper notes

This college offers many possibilities in mh course bsc chemistry. The previous jam and net results are stunning.Every year morever 40 out of 60 students are cracking jam and net with splendid ranks. Not only that but also it offers so many opportunities for seminar and internship what is quite impressive.

Likes

The library is good. There are are lots of books provided from library and you can study there too. Even you can access computer.
They provided laboratories. Which is very helpful especially for science students.

Dislikes

The canteen foods are not good. Even the foods are not hygienic
The playground are too small for playing football and cricket like games

Actually I am a partial dropper. And around my surroundings it is the good college in my opinion that's why I got admission in this college. And here provides a good nature for studying like other colleges. In this college's lecture hall and all classroom provides white board and projectors for learning. And the paper difficulty level is decent.

The infrastructure is quite good. The lab facility in our department is quite good
The library has state of the art facility.
The location is quite easy to reach. All type of vehicle facility is available

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam is quite upto the mark infested with shoet question as well as broad ones. The practical exam is also quite good. But there is room for improvement in terms of the practicality of course. More job oriented preparation for exams should be done inside college otherwise studying for a difficult course at times seems to be vague

A Comprehensive Look at BARASAT GOVERNMENT COLLEGE: Strong Academics and Vibrant Campus Life.

Likes

The campus is well maintained and is very big.
The library has huge collection & it has computers for students to use.
There is high speed Wi-Fi coverage all over the campus.

Dislikes

Canteen is not hygienic & is bit overpriced.
Labs has old equipments and an old structure.
College fests are not good compared to other local collges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to take a drop year for JEE but wanted to have an second option so I chose this easy course. Many students pursue UPSC, B.TECH after doing B.SC. The course curriculum needs to have practical applications. Major semester exams are held once every 6 months. And test exams are held 1 month before major semester examinations. Exams are pretty decent in difficulty. I would say exam difficulty is well justified.

Peaceful places where focus is given to study
The college principal is maharaj students will gain a deep knowledge about spirituality

Lack of time engaged in sports as it sometimes creates burden
