Doon University - A descent college for btech course for residents of dehradun

Admission:

I choose this college because it is a government college, and it was near my home, and i felt like it was good as per my JEE mains rank. I only took admission in this college only, and didn't try in any other college except this. The admission processs of this university was very simple, and it was based on reservation mostly, and i though I would not be qualified for the admission on first glance, but their were very less entries on the day of my admission as per the number of seats. The number of seats were 30 that day, and students present their that day were 25 approx. as much as i remember.

I honestly didn't applied for any other university as I consider this university a very good university as its govt and not too far from my home . A students can takes admission in this university by clearing a entrance exam of the university itself . Cuet is not applicable here

I chose this college because it is close to my residence also being a state university it has some perks and benefits. I applied for the Delhi University and got admission in the Hindu college but i preferred this college being close to my residence.

The College and the students..

I chose this college over other colleges because it met my all the needs ,as it was a affordable college within my state,so it was fine decision for me or maybe not but it's okay.The other colleges I wanted to get in were Delhi University but it was hard decision as I had to move out my state and the cost of living is quite high there .I wanted to move abroad for my further studies but I don't have enough money or was unable to get scholarships. The admission process for my college is you have to give an entrance exam on the basis of merit you will get into it.There are specific exam for each course you want to get into.The cutoff is usually around above 70.

Goodness of DOON UNIVERSITY

Because this is the main aimed college on my point of view and it is the best college among Dehradun the college has its own big library and the courses which are given by the university is very not costly and has a very important way, and the fee structure of university is very not costly and has a simple way of the admission and likely about 230000 of admission and 6 months of fees

I applied to only Delhi University via CUET. My parents didn't allow me to go to other city, hence I couldn't. The entrance was impressive of this university which was more difficult than CUET. Like some topics were not in the syllabus of CUET only. The admission process is simple based on entrance. Accordingly, lists are released on the website with marks. The dates are given and you have to do the paperwork and take admission. The entrance is CBT based mcqs and eligibility criteria is given in the prospectus available on the University website. Walk in admissions also take place if seats are left. Sports Quota admission is also available. In Economics, we had 50 seats but 51 students since one student failed last time. Now we are 49 since 2 students left as one has gone to Japan and other has left studies. The language courses have seats ranging from 27 to 30 with English hons having more seats.

I didn't reply any college I just apply for university I thought that if I didn't get any admission so I will go to Graphic Era...as you know that graphic error doesn't require any of the entrance to get registered so I had Graphic Era as a backup plan..
