Ans. Graduates can work as front office executives, food and beverage associates, housekeeping supervisors, travel consultants, tour managers, event coordinators, and airline ground staff. Key employers include Taj Hotels, Marriott, OYO, MakeMyTrip, Thomas Cook, IndiGo, Air India, and other hospitality and tourism companies. Students can also pursue M.Voc. in Hospitality and Tourism Management at BHU RGSC.

Ques. Is hostel accommodation available at RGSC for B.Voc. students?

Ques. Does this programme have scope for international placements?

Ans. Yes, the hospitality and tourism sector offers significant international placement opportunities. Graduates with a B.Voc. in Hospitality and Tourism can pursue careers with international hotel chains, cruise lines, airlines, and travel companies. However, international placements typically require additional certifications and language skills. The programme provides a strong foundation for such opportunities.

Ques. How is B.Voc. (Hospitality and Tourism) different from a regular BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management) degree?

Ans. A B.Voc. in Hospitality and Tourism is a broader, skill-oriented programme aligned with NSQF that covers both hospitality and tourism management. A BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management) is more focused specifically on hotel operations and management. The B.Voc. offers multiple exit options and is more flexible, while a BHM may be preferred by students specifically targeting hotel management careers. Both are valid pathways into the hospitality industry.

The fee for each semester (6months) is around 55000. So the overall tuition fee is about 3,50,000 rs. and the living and other day to day charges are separate. As i haven't got the hostel so my monthly living cost goes around 10,000 rs. The university also provides state and central scholarships each year, so half of the tuition fee almost gets refunded.

There was no fee hike, it's 30k per semester & cost of living in Varanasi is really very cheap as compared to metropolitan cities. A middle-class family can afford it easily. Our course is being sent to the Central Office of our campus for availing the scholarship, so not much information I can give on that. Basically, you will get an Unpaid internship from AIC, BHU or you will be sent to a hospital visit for Sir Sunderlal Hospital of BHU
