- Library: The University Library houses a total collection of over two lakh documents comprising books, theses, journals, and compact discs in the fields of Agricultural science, Agricultural engineering, horticulture, literature and social sciences. All in-house operations in the library are fully computerised using the Koha software package that also provides web-based access to the online catalogue of the Library.
- Health Centre: The University dispensary supports the health care activities for the students and staff members of the campus. The centre provides medical care for all common ailments, chronic diseases and medical emergencies. Screening camp for students for gynaecological ailments and eye camps is regularly conducted in association with a specialist health centre.
- Hostels: The University's main campus has separate hostels for boys and girls with requisite infra-structural facilities. There are six hostels for boys and four for girls, supported by a modern kitchen cum dining hall. Additionally, Norman Borlaug International Hostel is available for accommodating International students and professors' quarters for visiting fellows and external experts. A refreshment home is also functioning to cater to the food needs of the day scholars, staff and visitors.
- Internet Facility: To get hands-on experience with the latest technologies, all the colleges have very good infrastructure with advanced laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, etc. All colleges are now equipped with the latest computer products and internet connectivity. To enable PG students to write a thesis that will be totally competitive and publish in better journals, it is necessary the establish this wing, which will undertake language editing and technical editing for the research papers prepared by the students for publication in peer-reviewed journals. A separate wing on the Scientific Manuscript Editing & Publication Cell (SMEP) was established at the School of Post-Graduate Studies. And also, to improve the student thesis standard and to avoid duplication of research work, a centralised Anti-plagiarism check for postgraduate students was introduced, and this task was continued through the Scientific Manuscript Editing and Publication (SMEP) Cell by “Turnitin i-thenticate Urkund” software. The maximum permissible level of plagiarism for the master’s and Doctoral students is 30%. If the similarity level is more than 30%, the students can resubmit their manuscripts a maximum of four times. The students/faculty's research articles can also be checked by using this software.
