NIT Jalandhar Scholarship 2026

NIT Jalandhar offers various scholarships and financial assistance schemes primarily catering to economically weaker sections and reserved categories. Notably, SC/ST/PwD students receive a full tuition fee waiver. Students with annual family incomes below 1 lakh also receive a full tuition fee waiver, while those with incomes between 1 lakh and 5 lakh benefit from a two-thirds tuition fee remission. MTech students qualifying through GATE receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,400 from MHRD. The total fees for general category students with family incomes above 5 lakh are approximately Rs. 1.76 lakh per year, including tuition, hostel, and other charges. The college also facilitates educational loans through on-campus banks like SBI and Canara Bank. However, there are limited scholarships directly from the college for general category students, apart from those based on family income or academic merit.
