Placement Experience:

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

Good placement opportunity are here jn this campus. Average package is about 60 to 70 lpa. About 50%students get placed in these placements. Conoanirs like amazon, Microsoft, google cone for placements here. After getting this degree, i am thinking of becoming a UPSC aspirant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course and curriculum is good , it has many pros and cons. but I recommend the upcoming students to choose the course as per their wish. not just by seeing some random seniors. and there will be regular exams in all semesters.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty good in our college for the top tier branches with a placement percantage of 80%. Low tier branches have a cut off of minimum 7.5 CGPA for sitting in the campus interviews. Students get eligibility in 4th year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally don't like the course contents as the relevance of many courses to the upcoming branch as some as tecahed because they are basic courses.The exam difficulty standards are high as the average IQ is high causing it very hard to compete.

Placement Experience:

Generally placements here start from the end of third year. That will go on till the fourth year.Amazon, google often visit for placements. Other companies like wipro, Federal also visit. Highest package of 2024 was 52 LPA. Overall highest package was about 60 LPA. In CSE around 96%studentes got placed and overall 89% students applied for placements have placed.

College placements are going pretty well, many of my seniors got placed into different companies, from 3rd year campus provides you internship and placement opportunities but u can also try for other remote placements Almost 95% of students of computer science branch gets placed every year

What is your review of Centre for Entrepreneurship, IIT Bhubaneswar?

The Centre of Entrepreneurship at IIT Bhubaneswar is pretty good and slowly developing. It was inaugurated on 20th June 2016 by Prof. R. V. Raja Kumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar. The Department of Science & Technology and the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India sanctioned 1.50 Crore for the establishment of this canter. The vision behind the establishment of this startup center was to have an enrollment of a minimum of 10 startups in the 1st year of its commencement.  The facilities provided at the Centre of Entrepreneurship are food court facility, lodging facility, working/office space, internet facility, electricity facility, laboratory facility, mentoring services, and seed grant maximum up to 2.5 lakh. For the selection procedure, initiation letters for opening startups are yet to be given. Form A is for individuals and teams and form B is for Registered Units Ancillaries and Subsidiaries of establishment Firms. This cell can prove to be a good initiative provided the management and faculty implement innovative ideas too. The highlight of this center is their conduction of Esummit. It is a two-day event which hosted lectures by eminent personalities across various domains. The Centre of Entrepreneurship also organized a workshop on “Funding Opportunities and Legal Aspects of Startups” on 9 April 2016.
