People become eligible for placemwnts from the 7th semester . Barely 8 to 9 companies visit for chemical engineering core . Highest package is 14 CTC and lowest is 7 CTC. PSUs alao visit the campus but dont expect to be selected if you are general . For chemical only 40 percent of students get placement.

there is a very good placement of our college here in chemical engineering aroun 10to 12 lpa is the average package also there is and cse has average package of 20 lpa and there are lot of placement offered by college like in cse of our college 80% student get placed this year

The campus placement percentage is around 90% but this year because of recession the placement rate is decreased. The campus placement is provided to the students after 4th year and internship is also given to many students in 3rd year

For campus placement students are eligible from 7th semester and the criteria is min of 7.5 CGPA. There are more than 100 of companies visiting college for placement such as RELIANCE , INDIAN OIL , BAJAJ , JP MORGAN, QUALCOMM, TATA , MAHINDRA , GODREJ , AMAZON , ETC. over on an average 175-180 companies visit and offers around 600-650 packages including all branches. Highest Package for CSE , ECE is 64 lpa and CHEM , EE , META , MECH is around 31 lpa and MIN and CIV is around 15 lpa and average packages are 16.80 , 12.44 , 10.51 , 11.54 , 8.43 , 10.15 respectively . About 75 % students are placed who apply for in campus placement . I'll try for out campus or further pursue for competitive exams .

Placement of the core branches lower than mechanical is very low . Even Chemical Branch got only 7% placement. Even we don't expect from this college that we will get placement and there is strict eligibility of 7.5 CGPA for siting for placement.

Entire vnit needs to be altered in case to teaching purpose. It really hard to score good. They don't know how to teach students. And 75% criteria hits hard . It's very shameful that you are receiving salary and doing nothing . Exams are difficult as campe to teaching level

From 5th semester student become elligible for campus placement( internships) From 7th sem for jobs. TCS, Infosys, ITC, Johson Johson, Goldmann Sachs, Accenture, Cisco, BPCL, Dashcom, and many more. 60% student get placement as 40% have back or less cgpa or didn't apply for placement. Highest package in chemical is 19 LPA, Median is 9.46 LPA, And average is approx 7 to 8 LPA I Would go for startup and will give GATE Exam to try for PSU as placement is less in our college.

From 4th year i.e. 7th semester you can sit in campus placements which will be held offline and online. In Chemical Engineering, From 60 job offers 56 students got placed in campus placements with the highest package of 16.98 LPA and an average package of 9.72 LPA. The percentage of students placed is 67.47%. Companies visited are HPCL, BPCL, IOCL, ONGC, Tata Steels, ITC, etc.
