- The qualifications of the faculties are great and faculty -to-student ratio is satisfiable.
- It offers an average placement of 25 lpa but highest package of 1.95cr which is much better than many top iits.
- I liked the environment of the college. it is covered in beautiful greenery
Dislikes
- Academic are tough to handle and working members of campus is rude
- Course curriculum is not very hectic but this course will not help you for placement and curriculum does not provide any real world application.
- Even if it includes the name management but there is a lack of management

- Campus and hostels are good , also regular events happens in college like arora fest , urja , inter iiit sports meet.
- College Faculties are very knowledgeable and got their phd from top iits nits iiits and most of them have done post doc. also .
- Course Curriculum is relevant and useful in higher semesters like AI , ML , AWS etc .
Dislikes
- 75% criteria for attendace is very hard to manage .
- As campus is in iut skirts of city , so have to trave 4-5 km to reach main amrket .

in their prefinal year ;ike in 3rd year they are eligible for internships and in fianal year they can sit for placments
Top companies like Google , Amazon , DeShaw , VIsa and a lot more came every year for placment

- Best IIIT in terms of campus life as it has over 150 acres of lush green campus with almost every amenities.
- College has been improving its recent cultural status and activities by organizing events like Infotsav- Annual Tech fest. The girls to boys ratio is around 1:5 which is decent.
- all faculties are phD holders and highly qualified in their respective domain.
Dislikes
- Course curriculum is little bit on a harder side especially grading schemes. Some profs may deliberately give low grades.
- not that great alumini network despite being the oldest iiit
- semester lasts for only 4 months which may prevent many club events and exploration
Placement Experience:
For 4 yr courses, on campus placement drive begins in 7th sem and occur in 2phases in 7th and 8th sem.
For 5 yr courses, the same in 9th and 10th sem.
In 2025,
All tech giants like, google(16 selected), oracle(5 selected), microsoft(3 selected), de-shaw(3 selected), groww(10 selected), american express(10 selected), Nutanix (6 selected), amazon (8 selected).
Highest domestic was by de-shaw 67 lpa to 3 students. average package of cse was 27lpa , it+mtech 29lpa and it+mba 28 lpa.
214 students were placed out of 224 registered with a perecentage of 95 %.

- Relevant coursework and subjects are added in the curriculum that helped in placements and overall development of students
- Decent placements although the market was bad this year

- The mess food was good initially but the quality of the food degraded once the mess tenure was about to complete

Placement Experience:
The overall placements are pretty decent after looking at the job market currently.
The students can go for summer internships during their 3rd year and also during their 4th year's 8th semester for winter internships.
The students were eligible for campus placements from 7th semester onwards.
Highest package offered was of 61 LPA from Uber and Nutanix for SDE profile
Average package was 18 LPA
From 2025 batch 60% students are placed
My plans are to stay in corporate for atleast 2 years.

- Lush green campus with fully air conditioned classroom and spacious and airy hostels.
- All faculties are supportive towards research purposes.
- The clubs provide insights about different tech domains like web-dev,iot etc.
Dislikes
- Attendance policy is very strict i.e. 75 percent.
- Too much ciricullum with 9-6 classes and assignments.
- Exams schedule is too packed and there is no time for revision.

Some of the companies are Groww,Google,Rakuten, Goldman Sachs, IBM etc.
Highest 63 lpa and avg 22.5 lpa.

- The coding environment of the campus is too good. People here are competitive and always strive to be best amongst their mates.
- Greenery is pleasant here. When it's raining ABV IIITM really hits different.
- Diversity. Many students here are from different parts of the country, so people can learn new things explore more from their mates.
Dislikes
- Campus Life is also fine, but not great, as students are not authorised here to conduct different culturals as it will be always the call of management
- Intime for girls, its till 1030. After that girls are not allowed to go outside. It's kinda good one but though they cannot party outside after that time, it would generate fines on them.
- Students schedules are tight, like lab hours and daily classes are long, which would make them tired till evening. And weather here is also not so good that we can walk all along and go to classes every now and then.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd semester I will be able to take campus placements and as for internship you can even start as a newbie.
I'm in my second year so no companies visited yet.
Highest is 67 lakhs and lowest is around 7-8 lakhs per annum.
82-85% of students are placed by the end of 4th year.
After getting a degree I'm planning to continue with my job for 4-5years and then planning to go for a startup.

- The campus area is quite large and buildings are in good condition with proper facilities.
- Classrooms are well maintained and proper centralized air conditioned makes it quite comfortable.
- Hostels are in good shape with proper facilities like fan, almirah, bed, table, chair, and geyser in bathrooms, good mess area, and great variations in food and taste is also fine.
Dislikes
- Sports facilities are good but needs improvement.
- Food quality can be better and bathing water needs proper treatment.
- Grounds need more maintenance and proper grass cutting is needed at some parts.
Placement Experience:
This is IIIT college with less branch and student and the branches are also mostly in IT fields which makes the placement statistics quite better than other colleges with large percentage of student placements.

- you will get lots of free time and saturadays and sundays are holidays
- campus night walks with friends and greenary of the campus and peaceful atmosphere
- class rooms are well equiped and all faculty here are phd holders
Dislikes
- some times badminton court is not sufficient for all who wanted to play
- gwalior city is not that great,it lacks some of the facilities
- weather is t harsh here throught the year
Placement Experience:
the recent placement statistics are 20 lakhs average package for all branches. goldman sachs, google, intuit, mercari will come every year.the highest package in 2024 is 65 lpa and perecntage of student placed is 85 percentage approx

- Infrastructure is pretty good and a lush green campus. There is a Sports Complex, Open Air Theater, Bio diversity Park, Butterfly Conservatory.
Dislikes
- There is compulsory 75% attendance criteria and also classes are from 9AM-6PM making it very hectic for students.
Placement Experience:
Placement are very good here. This year the highest package is 65 lpa and average package is around 22 lpa. 85% of total students were placed and 18 students got 50+ lpa package while 27 got between 30-49 lpa.

- My college provides best offcampus placements at all
- My college has the biggest campus among all iiits qnd its ciriculam is very light among other iiits
- All the professors are PHD holders and also the campus includes quit good Sports facilities
Dislikes
- The fees is quite high as per the government college requires
- Some facilities like sports complex needs to be renovates and also the college doesnt have official mrechendise, also from 2023 New Education policy is applied due to which there are some time pass courses added in syllabus :(
- All the high end packages like 1cr, 60 lpa ,etc are from offcampus
Placement Experience:
The placement are decent enough . But for on-campus placement there is a condition to sit in the interview that you gave atleast a cgpa of 7 other wise college will not allowed you to sit in the placements . But my college provide some good alumini connections and overall high end packages are provided in off-campus placements

Dislikes
- Professor does not give good grades easily.
- Administration is not very supportive for students.
- Fest is not held regularly, hardly 1 fest happen in a year.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placement in their 9th semester of college. Also you are eligible for internship opportunity in college in your 7th semester. In 2024batch around 80 percents students are placed.

Anurag MishraDual degree (Btech+Mtech) from Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior
IIITM Gwalior is a reputed technological institute with decent placement record. The placements are especially good for CS/IT branches. Students from non-IT branches also get placements in IT companies. IIITM Gwalior placements concluded with an average CTC of INR 16.85 LPA. Google, Dell, Mathworks, Samsung, and Amazon were the major recruiting participants in the placement drive.
Academics are pretty good at the institute. It has an excellent faculty pool. Most of the faculty members have completed their PhDs. IIITM G has an active coding culture on campus. Seniors teach the nitty-gritty of coding through the coding club - AASF club. There are regular program contests and quizzes.
