IIST Trivandrum Scholarship 2026

The college offers a comprehensive scholarship program primarily based on academic performance. Undergraduate and Dual Degree students with a CGPA of 7.5 or higher receive full reimbursement of their semester fees, amounting to approximately Rs. 48,400. SC/ST/PWD students must maintain a CGPA of 6.5 to avail of similar benefits. Additionally, students who score above 9.0 CGPA receive a 50% tuition fee waiver. Postgraduate students are eligible for stipends from the MHRD, and PhD students receive research stipends.

A book grant of Rs. 3,000 per semester is available for students maintaining a 7.5 CGPA or higher. Financial aid is also provided based on family income, with full tuition fee waivers for families earning less than Rs. 1 lakh annually. The college supports education loans, with a Union Bank of India branch available on campus. The current total fee, including tuition and other charges, is approximately Rs. 91,700 per semester, subject to income-based adjustments.
