- Students from poor background can earn benefits and scholarship advantages.
- Our department faculty are very much helpful and supportive to the students they often help us in all our studies and extracurricular activities and they deliver a vast amount of knowledge to the students
- College ambiance is very good and pleasant and peaceful and environment is totally beautiful at our college and college life seems to be very good and great

- No proper campus, and other facilities, no separate library for nutrition and dietetics department
- There are complaints about the management being disorganized and focused on profit rather than student welfare. Issues such as poor management and a lack of innovation in teaching method

- There is no categories discrimination and no first priority in any means.
- Every subject provides good laboratory experiences
- I like vast variety of courses to choose from
Dislikes
- Our classes will be held in hospitals so it's very difficult to accommodate all the students in that small seminar room in the lab
- They give the mbbs students better treatment than allied health students
- More than the professors, PhD scholar has a bit of attitude and audacity
Course Curriculum Overview:
I didn't choose this subject, it was just my father's approach and I just agreed. Th course was really difficult to understand for me in the beginning like I took 2 whole years to completely get through to understand. It's very recent course and it has still not been completely researched. The internals exam needs to have a bit of gap in between them as soon as the first internals finishes the second one arrives within one month

- Simple procedures for admission and follow academic calendar properly without any drabacks in completing portions
- Library facilities are great and the campus is huge and student friendly with good canteen and parking areas
- The faculties are good and well versed in their course especially the life sciences faculties
Dislikes
- Intership opportunities are expected be to found on our own arrangements
- Less no. of faculties in some courses so we faced issue regarding it
- More exposure to field work and workshops to students would be more resourceful.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum had all areas covered under the course including theory and practicals .
The areas of improvement can be looked into example based teaching rather than text book examples.
On around 4 months one semester is completed with 2 internal exams and one semester exam.

- The college is good and the education provided is very good way The practical classes are good like the way the showing the equipments and cadaver. The campus life in the college is very good. And the hospital of the JSS college is very big
- In Mysore JSS hospital is the major hospital and the most of the cases are coming to this hospital so the trainees can see and study many type of cases.in the course BSC EMT(emergency medicine)3 year theory and practical classes and 1 year internship
- The one year internship is provided by the college in the JSS hospital .The first year academic classes like anatomy and physiology classes are good and very easy to study because of the practical and theory classes are so good. Bls and acls is there
Dislikes
- The things I had dissappointment about the college is very few only.like there is only veg food in the college canteen more I can’t say because like that nothing is there everything is good food in the canteen like shakes and all very good
- The college hostel fees Is over I think but it’s ok for everyone it’s just a opinion from my side
- The security control was very bad they behaving like gundas to students and the way they looking is very arrogant it’s a small issue
Course Curriculum Overview:
Because the course BSC EMT(emergency medicine technology) is a good paramedical course which will get fast placements and very demanding job
-The curriculum prepares students for real world applications the internship is enough for that because the internship is so helpful to make the student understand everything because lots of cases are coming to the JSS hospital so the experience will make them very pro

- Girls to boys ratio is 17:8 lots of girls are here and good female male interactions,some professor really teach well,cl
- Practical labs are good having latest equipments and faculty
- Good infrastructure and availability of comforts like playground gym washerman for clothes and hostel with mess
Dislikes
- Overcrowding since 250 students are there so it's difficult to maintain decorum in theory cl
- No proper teachings in class by most of the faculty
- Very strict timing and dress code feel like I am still in school
Course Curriculum Overview:
Excellent exams are held every 3-4 months know as internals and in the end university exams.the curriculum prepares you for real world applications but the teaching methods used are useless and ineffective for students it can be changed so that curriculum useless is justified

- Extremely good and abundant access to facilities like microscopes, lab equipments, etc, making it enough for everyone and preventing crowding/fighting for such resources
- Very well connected network with national and international students, which in turn provides a good exposure to exams like USMLE, PLAB, AMC, etc
- A lot of research opportunities present, and the college is willing to help students in conducting their own research
Dislikes
- Cadaver to student ratio is 25:1, which is still better than a lot of institutes but it gets crowded sometimes
- Very strict attendance policy that many-a-times affects participation in extra-curriculars
- Anatomy Department’s HOD is very rude, inconsiderate, incompetent and overall very much disliked by the college

The course curriculum is according to the CBME guidelines and is followed very strictly in the college.
The teaching method is Audio-Visiual with the professor teaching the students with help of powerpoint presentations
The exam frequency frankly is really packed, which I believe should be relieved a bit.
