- Scholarships are available at good scores in jee mains but there are also internal scholarships within semesters if you score good in one semester you can get scholarship financial assistance was also good
- Teachers are good and they teach well and helping us to improve
- The placement opportunities are good and allows big companies like amazon take students from the university.
Dislikes
- The placements of this campus are very bad considering it's a government funded technical institution and the ranks for this college are high. the package should be atleast 6-7 lpa average for a cse student.
- One more thing i hate here is that sports is not good here
- Mess food is horrible here. the worst thing about the hostel life is mess food here.

- The university staff and faculty are very supportive to each students
- SMVDU have the best faculty and mentors are very supportive rather its your course problem or personal problem they always supports to you
Placement Experience:
From the 6 th semester you are eligible for the placement. My plans after getting the degree is to do competitive exams
The highest package is near about 12 lpa and average package is about 4 toh 6 lpa

- good girls boys ratio in campus due to different others courses
- Active in sports tournament, fest , clubs and NSS
Dislikes
- There is compulsory 75 % attendance policy
- No big shopping complex. cinema halls, gamezone and good restaurant
Placement Experience:
our placement is not that good but its improving very fast and if I don't get placement from this college then i do mba from foreign through clearing gmat exam or preparing for government exams in india

- The campus is in Katra, surrounded by hills and greenery. It’s very calm compared to big-city universities, so you can focus on studies without too many distractions.
- The evaluation system is modeled after IITs (continuous assessments, minors, majors). It keeps you consistent throughout the semester rather than relying only on one final exam.
- For a relatively young university, it has well-built hostels, decent labs, a central library, sports grounds, and a campus that feels modern and organized.
Dislikes
- Because it’s located in a remote area, you don’t get as many industry interactions, internships, or cultural events as you would in metro-based universities.
- For branches like CSE and ECE, placements are fairly decent. But for core branches (civil, mechanical, biotech, etc.), opportunities are fewer and students often have to prepare for outside exams/jobs themselves.
- The environment is disciplined, but some students feel it’s a bit too restrictive compared to other colleges. Night-outs, frequent fests, or the “big city college vibe” are missing.
Placement Experience:
In case placement they tries give opportunities but didn't succeeded to much well. As 9.5 lpa is highest package by B.Tech CSE on campus but off-campus doing well as B.Tech CSE got 2 time 36 lpa as highest

- University is situated in Katra and thus you will experience mountain view daily with paths of University full of Tre.s
- The Faculties are highly qualified and are best in their respective fields.They also didn't forces you for 75% attendance criteria.
- Seniors of our college are helping ones. They will do Their best to help you in every aspect.
Dislikes
- The Social life of College is slightly dead as Interactions among students of different branches is not easy.
- The Event Organising committee is not as good to successfully organise big events.
Placement Experience:
The Placements opportunities are fair as they placement is not good. The average placement is 5 l.p.a which is very low. So you have to prepare for off campus placement. The College is slightly cut off from the top companies and they are not visiting our college from covide period. Thus placement is at not good track.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements in 8th semester.
Companies like L&T construction, Ambuja cement, tata , wipro, jio , Berger, infosys, IBM and many more visit the college.
Highest package is around 17 LPA and average package is around 5 LPA .
Almost 30 percent students get placement.
My plan is to get off campus placement.

Placement Experience:
Placement cell are too bad here and non of companies want too visit campus as one or two of them blaclist this collage and the mass recuriter which come hire at an max package of 2-3 lakh which is nothing fo rthe any studnet and max salaries are 5 lakh last year whihc is for non tech branch

if someone want to do internship from the college, then the college also provides the options like NITs, DRDO and other recognised institutes. (19 Reviews)
Dislikes
In my college, for architecture branch, there are no placements directly instead students need to apply for any job after when they completed their graduation in B.Arch

- College's weather is too pleasant and the air quality is also good
- The environment is also very good and also the view is very nice
- Seniors are very friendly in college and also the college has strict punishment for ragging.
Dislikes
- The hostel food is not upto the level that a student expect.
- The facility sometimes does not able to connect with Students
- Hostels are very far away from the department and students have to move very far from the hostel
Placement Experience:
The placement of our college is Average and the students are eligible in 7 semester for placement. If the student has any backlog in any of the semester they can't sit in the college placement and also it has minimum criteria of 6.5 cgpa. The percentage of students getting placement is very low sadly

Our college provides in campus placements and the average package.In my course , civil engineering is about five lakh per annum Although These students who are able to sit in placement are only those who get A cgpa above 7

The college offers in campus placements do only do the students that have no backlogs and there are several conditions of CGPA also manage students get the placement do the very average package not very much high and not as expected most of the students don't even get the package and they have to do something other after the completion of the most of the students don't even get the package and they have to do something other after the completion of the course
