Something about IUST

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible in the 7th semester for the placement. But there are not many placements provided by the university so we have to search for jobs on our own. I think only 10% of students get placed and they get around 5lpa package.

Placement are not so good from the college... especially there are more placements for CSE ...the average salary in placement is about 200000-300000..the highest was about 400000 recently in 2022..so for placement I would say not so good

IUST is not as bad as it seems.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from 7th semister for the university placements. There are various companies that visit the university like TCS, Airtel, Jio, Infosys, etc. Some students do get placed at packages of around 5 LPA. My plans are to develop skills and apply for jobs outside university placements.

A Scenic journey: My experience at IUST, Awantipora

Dislikes

Lagging in placements: The university is currently lagging in terms of placement opportunities ,while there is a placement cell ,the number and quality of placement have room for improvement.
The students of core branches like civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering don't find it easy to get placement.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last semester at Islamic University of Science and Technology. However there arenyt many companies visiting the campus. While opportunities may be limited students from computer Science and management studies department of secure jobs with notable companies. The average salary package for these placement typically rains from 3-5 lacs per annum

The placements occur in this university. Most of placements are from cse department. With placement of 24 lakhs per annum. In other engineering departments placement also occurs. Byjus, jsw, ultratech cement have hired recently from this university.

Placement Experience:

1. From the final year people become eligible for placements. 2. Many companies across India visited here and offered many jobs. 3. Highest package may vary from 7 to 12 lacs per annum. The average salary may vary from 7 to 9 lacs( but seriously speaking I didn't hear so much as our class was in online mode due to covid). 3. This may vary if the student is very good to crack the interview he/ she may get a good placement. 4. After doing BTech I will also prepare for different placements or maybe a better job.

Internships Opportunities:

The internships offerd hod no stipend. The company's like JSW, Hiqmah would come frequently for freshers to get jobs. We had 2 projects, in one we had a which toppled and we had to get car to its upright position by using mechanical engineering. In second project we had to make a smart lock system for safety.
