Initially during the admission I did not pay any amount as I got the admission but I had to pay some amount for the examination form fill up for the first semester examination the amount of collected into two categories. The first part included the fees for the examination centre which has some total of rupees 2000 and the second part was for the practical fee which was rupees 400 per subject and I had to pay it total of 1200 for 3 subjects. Bring from the SC category guy got the admission in my college AND THERE ARE NO OTHER MONTHLY CHARGES. SOME OF MY FRIENDS WHO DO NOT HAVE RATION CARD OR DO NOT BELONG TO RESERVATION CATEGORY HAD TO PAY IN AMOUNT OF APPROXIMATELY 7000 TO 8000 FOR THE ADMISSION AND THE REST EXAMINATION AND CENTRE FEE IS SAME AS THAT OF MINE. THE GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM IS MANY MANY SCHOLARSHIP FOR US. INITIALLY I APPLIED FOR THE ISHAN UDAY SCHOLARSHIP WHICH WAS OFFERED BY THE NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL IT INCLUDES A SUM OF TOTAL 80 THOUSAND RUPEES ANNUALLY FOR 4 YEARS. ADDITIONALLY I GOT OTHER SCHOLARSHIP FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM WHICH INCLUDED A SCOOTY. THE SCOOTY WAS PROVIDED TO THOSE BENEFICIARIES WHO HAD SECURED MORE THAN 80% IN THE HIGHER SECONDARY EXAMINATION. MOREOVER THE GOVERNMENT OF ASSAM IS RELEASING SEVERAL OF THE SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE STUDENT STUDYING IN DEGREE LEVEL . AMONG THEMPROMINENT SCHOLARSHIP IS THE BABU ASONI IS PROMINENT ACCORDING TO THE SCHOLARSHIP EVEREST STUDENT WHO WAS STUDYING IN GRADUATION OF PROSE GRADUATION WILL RECEIVE SOME AMOUNT AS AN SCHOLARSHIP EVERY MONTH THOSE STUDING UNDERGRADUATE WILL RECEIVE SOME TOTAL OF RUPEES 1000 PER MONTH AND THE THOSE WHO ARE STUDYING IN POSTGRADUATE WILL RECEIVE 2000 PER MONTH. THIS SCHOLARSHIP WILL BE GIVEN FOR 10 MONTHS EVERY YEAR TO EACH AND EVERY STUDENT WHO ARE PURSING THE GRADUATION. THERE ARE MORE OTHER SCHOLARSHIP GIVEN BY GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE NGOs like the LIC SCHOLARSHIP GIVEN TO THE STUDENTS.

The fees have to be paid per semester with total amount as 17,800/- with Admission Fee and Course Fee as 13,000/- , 2,000/- as Tuition Fees. 1,500.00/- Campus Development Fund. The Union Fees is 500/-. The Library Fees (Library card, Book, journals, Newspapers) is 500/- which is refundable later and we can take books too with that library card. Festival Fees as 300/-. Which makes the total Payable Amount Rs. 17,800/- (Rupees Seventeen Thousand Eight Hundred Only). The college does not provide any remuneration as the mode of admission is online. There are many scholarships which we get such as ISHANUDOY and other scholarships for various reservations which is based on merit and we can even renew our scholarship per year.

Since BCA is a self-financed professional course at ADP College, the fees are a bit higher than the regular arts or science streams. I pay around Rs. 50,000 per year. This fee covers the tuition, computer lab charges, library fees, and other union funds. Apart from the yearly admission fees, we have to pay the examination fees separately to Gauhati University during the form fill-up of every semester. That costs around Rs. 1,000 to 1,500 depending on the practical subjects. regarding scholarships, most students here apply for the 'Ishan Uday' scholarship (UGC) which is very popular in the North East. If you maintain a good percentage and attendance, you can also apply for the state merit scholarship. The fee hike is not very frequent, so the cost is predictable for the 3-year duration."

Our college provides courses in very low cost. The year wise fees for 2 semesters i paid was Rs 7180. The tution fees is ?2000, caution fees is ?1000, Registration fees is ?1000, Development fees is ?1000 , Lab fees is ?2000 and overall admission fees is ?7180. The fees of my batchmates is same as mine. There are many scholarship for college students like Ishan Uday Scholarship for NER (80000 per year) and OBC Scholarship. I've applied for Ishan Uday Scholarship from which I'll receive 80000 per year. Our school management is very helpful in providing details about scholarship and helping us while applying.

And fees for caste are same and the BPL people get free admission and their fees is also free which is a very good thing. hello collegedunia !! I'm currently studying in Biswanath College . So , I'm a student of Bachaelor of Computer Science & Application 1st sem . this a 3 year course and 6 sem . For the admission of 1st sem students , I had to pay rs 10,000 . and for the rest of the sem , I'll have pay rs 8000 per sem . and rs 3000 for the registration each sem before the sem final exam . As I'm a 1st sem student , so I don't know whether the fees is increasing or not but when I asked my seniors , they answered ' NO ' . no extra fees will be taken as the second point asked me . Everbody will have to pay the same amount here caste , parents job or not , income certificate etc. doesn't matter . For different courses , there will be different criteria of admission in our college . For commerce students , it's 8000 per year and for BA & B.Sc students it varies because BCA & B.Com are private course and BA & B.Sc are government courses but the college is government . For B.Sc and BA , you'll have to pay nothing if you have BPL but if your parents does government job or anuall income if 4.5lakh plus , then you'll have to pay rs 200 in your admission . And lastly regarding scholarships or any other schemes for financial support , Assam government launched a scheme called Nijut Moina Asoni where only female UG students could apply and those who have applied , they got the cheque of rs 1250 per month . this was a scheme not a scholarship . Mainly 4 scholarships were available in our college . first is Ishan Uday Scholarship , NSP (ST/OBC) Scholarship , NSP (SC) Scholarship , UGC National Scholarship . Here , only Ishan Uday and UGC are merit based. Course is too expensive so I gave only 2 star
