The University of Hyderabad is one of the premier institutions in India offering postgraduate and doctoral programs in various fields, including computer science and engineering (CSE). Here are some of the details regarding the M.Tech CSE placement at the University of Hyderabad:
In summary, the M.Tech CSE program at the University of Hyderabad has a good placement record, with a majority of students getting placed in reputed companies in India and abroad. The university has a dedicated placement cell, a strong alumni network, and internship opportunities that can help students prepare for their careers and achieve their goals.
University of Hyderabad doesn’t reveal cutoff marks. You need to score more than 605 in your 10+2 to appear for the entrance examination. UoH shortlists students for the interview round based on their entrance examination results. However, the details regarding the cutoff aren’t revealed. You will have a better chance of securing a spot for admission if you have a higher rank.

When talking about research, the reputation of an institute is secondary. Reputation of supervisors, quality of thesis, and publications matter more. It is quite possible that some individual professor at the University of Hyderabad is better than many professor of TIFR/IISC/NCBS/JNCASR etc. But in general, peer groups and faculties are better at these research institutes compared to the University of Hyderabad.
Among Hyderabad Central University (HCU) and GITAM University Vizag, it is suggested that you go for Hyderabad Central University.
Lastly, placements majorly depend on the individual and not on the institution. So, if you work hard no matter the institution, you will definitely secure a good placement offer from a reputed company.

In 12th semester or last semester students become eligible for campus placements. Vision Express, Lawrence and Mayo these companies visited and offered for jobs. Students will get 100% placements. Now I'm doing job in Vision Express.

Great faculties. Theres a great student teacher relationship. There are 3 minor exams each of 20 marks per subject. Out of these 3, best of 2 are taken for endsem. And the major exam is of 60 marks. This is good and bad as well. That is there's academic pressure. So you have to study and study. But you barely have time for refreshment

Campus life is great. There's a positive environment. Great people. There's campus politics but that's good healthy politics. New technologies are used in classrooms and the huge library provides great resources. All types of sports are played. Many events and each festival is celebrated

Each room has 2 beds, 2 almirahs, 2 tables, 2 chairs for two students and rooms are quite big and comfortable for two persons. Compare to North campus, south campus is newer, so rooms in south campus are very good and clean. Food in mess is good. At the time of addmission University will provide hostel and they will charge 500 rupees for room rent per semester. Rooms are available near Gopanpally area.
