National Sanskrit University is a central university located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in 2020 through the Central Sanskrit Universities Act. The university was earlier known as Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, which was founded in 1961 to promote Sanskrit education and preserve traditional Indian knowledge.
