NIT Warangal Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

During your third year, you can sit for a summer internship in the companies which are coming during the placement season. During your final year, you can sit for placements in the companies visiting your campus placement. In the last placement season 2021-2022, 1000+ students get placed in companies. * Major recruiters were Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, De Shaws, Uber, DP World, Reliance, BPCL, ITC, etc. * Even many PSU visits for placement during the placement season. If you are preparing for placement then there are very many chances that you will get placed easily. The highest package for last year was around 65 lakh and for the ongoing year, the highest placement is 88 lakh. For most of the branches have placement percentages above 85%.

The top NIT of our country in terms of placement is NIT WARANGAL, so placement is not much of a issue so people do get placed in a very good company at good package.Generally students after placement go to jobs and then they generally do their jobs.

Companies start visiting in August in the final year and it goes on for a whole year. The placement records are very good. Maximum companies come for circuit branches but in non-circuit also placement records are good. You will get placed for sure if you have good skills and can be technical or verbal. Highest package was around 63LPA and the average is 15LPA approx. In cse, ece and eee average is above or around 20 and in non-circuit it varies from 10 to 20. The percentage is around 80 to 100. My plans are to pursue a career in the technical domain after my degree.

Placements at our college are relatively very good considering it's a college of National eminence. Every year more than 150 companies come to take students. Companies such as DeShaw, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Microsoft, Uber, Visa, SAP Labs, Directi, Oracle, Qualcomm, Citrix, and MasterCard are a few of the prominent ones visiting campus. We have a dedicated Placement cell to assist and train students for placements. According to media reports, a total of 1016 students have been placed in 2022. The highest and average packages offered this year were reported to be INR 62.5 LPA and INR 14.5 LPA respectively.

As it's a college of National eminence, placements are quite good. Further, the highest and average packages offered during 2022 placements were INR 62.5 LPA and INR 14.5 LPA respectively. About 150-180 companies visit the campus every year.

Students are elegible for interns from semester 6, post which they are eligible for PPOs Placements start in August in sem 7 The highest package is over 40 Lakh pa. Around 140 companies visit for campus placements. And about 90% of the people get placed. I plan on working after the degree.

From semester 7 final year placement season start. Almost 197 companies visited our campus and more than 800+ offers were given. Highest CTC : 56LPA avg CTC : 12LPA 85% Of the students were offered placements.

Getting a job here and working hard on that and let's how it goes after that. Initially thought to pursue an MBA but this degree doesn't help you much if you don't have a good CGPA. Getting a high CGPA Is harder.

Good--- Location is near my home town , all facilities easily accessible , near Hyderabad, Good placement stats, good faculty, Good courseAdmission process was offline for us , and was not properly organized NIT Warangal is among the top technical institutes in India with good placements, good environment, infrastructure, education, a large campus of 248 acres and many more. Admission in NIT Warangal is done on the basis of entrance exam JEE Mains. You must have a good rank for admission in this college. Admission started after the Counseling process in June-July. And class started in the last week of July. This college has Asia's largest Hostel named ULTRA MEGA HOSTEL having 1.8k students capacity. Placement is pretty good as compared to other NITs. Many fun activities Like tech fest are organised 2 times per year namely Technozion and Spring spree. --- I agree with this quora answer
