I wanted Madan mohan malviya university of technology because its NIRF ranking is 60 and it is aggrigated with NAAC A++ .MMMUT Alumini network is very strong and for getting a job is very necessary . I have applied for aktu counselling as well and get some good private colleges with cse branch but only chose this college over them because it's a government college and the placement is good here in comparison to that private colleges and it's nirf ranking is also good . I get addmission in this college through jee mains percentile and crl rank which was 87 and 190356 . So I came in spot round of this college and get mechanical branch.

I applied to aktu councelling and i was getting all of those colleges and all the subjects, i chose this college because it is not affiliated to AKTU and also MMMUT is a state government college with a well established civil engineering department... Yes i did get rejection from IITs and NITs because of my low jee mains rank In order to get Admission in our college one has to fill the admission form which are generally released after the jee mains examination, one needs to have a jee mains rank of the current year to get admission in the college, generally one needs to have a rank of 60000 to get Admission in this college in CSE branch and around 1.2 lakh for civil engineering branch...

I applied for Aktu colleges whose councelling was too late and I also applied for the Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology. In which I got selected in the second round for the branch i filled as a top priority. To take admission you must do a separate councelling of MMMUT . Registration fees for this councelling is 2500 . The admission takes place on the basis of JEE MAINS rank . The overall admission process was good .

I was able to secure seats in several colleges but the nirf ranking and the branch of electrical engineering was better in MMMUT hence I took my admission here. Through college's individual counselling which has 5 online and spot offline rounds.

Is it necessary to qualify for the cutoff of the JEE Mains for MMMUT counselling?

There are two methods to get admission at MMMUT, either you can qualify for the JEE Mains exam or the Malaviyan Entrance Test. The total seats through the Malviyan entrance test are 90 percent while through JEE Mains the total seats are only 10 percent. If you are giving JEE Mains exam you can fill the counseling through the same otherwise it is mandatory to give the entrance exam. In order to get admission, you also need to score well on the Malaviyan entrance test.
