King's College London (KCL): Admissions 2026, Fees, Rankings, Scholarships & Courses

• It was amazing. Best library. Best campus. Best infrastructure. Honestly, it keeps you in awe.

• Back then, it was 33,000 pounds.

• 5 campuses are there in total: Denmark hill, Strand, Waterloo campus, Guy's campus, St thomas campus.
• All kinds of facilities are available in the campus areas: libraries, cafes, bar, sports facilities, gym, general surgery office, doctors, on-call, dance studios, yoga classes etc.
• There's no major popular events as such, King's College London celebrate many events in their societies and on campus daily.
• There are many opportunities to connect with others, give back to society and engage in culture, even if studying remotely. Wherever you are in the world at the moment, King's has a rich offer of activities for you to get involved.
• King’s Sport delivers a range of opportunities for students and staff to get involved in sport and physical activity, with an ambition to be the most active university in London. This year, you don’t have to go to a gym or class in person to take part – it’s all online.
• Apart from that many extra curricular clubs are also provided.

• My course fee was around approx 28 lakhs. This was only the tuition fee. It didn't include the application fee, or the hostel charges. The fees are charged quarterly wise, I had to pay my course fee in 2-3 installments.
• I took private accommodation separately. However the accommodation charges of King's are different based on the accommodation you choose. They have a variety of different plans.
• My monthly expenses used to be around: 1300 pounds per month for accommodation; 300-400 pounds per month for food, groceries, transportation. If I spent it on shopping or going out sometimes it used to go up to 100-150 pounds a month.

• My college had 4-5 campuses. Strand campus and Bush house campus are next to each other in an area called Strand itself. Waterloo Campus is at a place called Waterloo.
• All these 3 are a walking distance of 10 minutes from each other and can be suitable to conduct different lectures throughout the day. 
• Guy's Campus is near London bridge. Denmark Campus is bit far in south london side.
• There were events like show your traditions/culture. Football matchday events at the pub with just food and drinks.

• So my total fees for the whole year was £35,500. It is payable on a half yearly basis. 1st installment before joining and 2nd installment mid-year.
• I did not live in the university accommodation which to be honest are a bit more expensive than others but are at prime locations of the city. I was living in a private student accommodation where my rent was £165 per week including bills.
• Groceries run around £150 a month and travel can be around £100 a month.

• King's College London has four campuses, namely, Strand Campus (located in Aldwych), Denmark Hill Campus (located in Camberwell Green), Guy's campus (located near london bridge station) and Waterloo Campus (next to london's south bank center).
• Facilities like libraries are present on each campus related to respective departments, cafeterias, common spaces.

• The course fee was approximately 35,000 pounds for a year. 
• The accommodation fee was 340 pounds per week. The fee was charged quarterly. The majority of the expenses were groceries, transportation and rent.
• Transport expenses are approximately 70 to 100 pounds per month. Cooking meals at home can save on a lot of money and can be pocket friendly then having meals outside so that is highly recommended.

• There are 5 campuses of KCL. We have a sports centre (gym, climbing, etc.), an NHS centre inside campus, and the very famous Maughan Library is a campus in itself.
• I studied at the Strand campus. I am not very aware of the fests, but there are hundreds of clubs in KCL, we also have webinars and competitions in every subject field.
• Extracurricular activities under clubs can be done as members or otherwise, as members you get discounted prices and can go to competitions and exhibitions, meet people in the industry etc.

Admission Experience

• I chose UK to pursue public policy due to its similarity with Indian parliamentary system. I particularly opted for King's due to high academic ranking as well as the optional Internship module offered under the degree. London is a great city to explore - both academic and non-academic experiences.
• My overall experience at King's has been great, I'm grateful for the academic and professional opportunities as well as extracurricular activities. The student life has been exciting. However, I expected a more practical approach with my degree (MA Public Policy) and was a bit disappointed to see the core modules be more theoretical.

King's has 3 major campuses, I was based out of Strand. The Maughan Library is just beautiful. Campus life has been amazing at King's with lots of student-focussed events happening across the year. The opportunity to meet new people from different countries has been so exciting. I've been an active part of the hiking society and I've gotten to explore the scenic landscape of the UK, with hikes happening almost every weekend!

King's College London was always my dream college. At first, my application was rejected, but then all of a sudden I got a mail saying I was acknowledged. I always wanted to go to King's because of variety of courses available there and as I wanted to get into marketing, I decided to pursue International Marketing but what came to my disappointment was that the Course Fee was too high and the course structure was designed in away that there was no practical experience included in the course. However, it was genuinely the best experience of my life. I made new friends, learned so many new things and got an experience of living independently.

I didn't join any clubs as I was usually working part-time, but I do regret that now. The clubs and social events at King's are fun and truly enriching, offering a unique exposure. I would definitely suggest joining a club to fully enjoy a great university life.

I chose this college because of the reputation and rankings of the university and its location being London. My overall experience was good, with a few pros and cons as mentioned above.

Campus life is alright, with a lot of clubs and events opportunities - but mostly undertaken by UG students and not much by PG. However, research facilities and libraries are centrally located and excellent to work in.

My main motivation for choosing this college was that they provided a unique list of modules that were not available in other top-ranking colleges.

There are a lot of clubs but I did not participate in any as I am Master's student. The campus facilities are all great.

I chose this college as I really loved their website specifically for Neuroscience. Exposure to using fMRI, and brain histology really motivated me to apply for an MSc in Neuroscience at KCL. This course allowed me to choose a speciality out of neuroimaging, neurodegeneration, cognitive neuroscience and neural stem cells - all topic very much in demand in neuroscience research. Out of three offers that I got, KCL was the best university ranking wise, exposure wise, location wise. My overall experience was definitely very good especially because of the support by teachers, who were always very helpful and kind.

There are definitely lots of clubs that you can be a part of. However, I find that bachelor's students are more part of these clubs than master's students. However, you can become a class representative. Infrastructure-wise, very developed. Many extracurricular activities as well. Neuroscience Society specifically keeps having weekly and bi-weekly activities which would be definitely something to look into.
