If your target is the October 2026 intake with UKRI-equivalent funding, aim to send the formal application by mid-July 2026 so the supervisor has time to nominate you for scholarship rounds that close before the intake opens.

University of Bath Application Process

10. Receive your CAS and apply for the visa. Bath issues the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies once you accept unconditionally, roughly six weeks before the course start.

Undergraduate applicants who miss the standard UCAS January deadline should look for the UCAS Extra window (late-February onwards for courses with places remaining). United Kingdom Student Visa for University of Bath Indian Applicants

Indian nationals need the UK Student visa (Student Route, formerly Tier 4) to study any course longer than six months at the University of Bath.
