MVGR - A COLLEGE OF HOPES AND DREAMS

Being a widespread college, there is no congested feeling for us students in the college. There are several facilities provided to the students and there is also a freedom of thought given by the management.

The new course curriculum follows A2 regulations. However, I belong to the A1 regulation, and the course curriculum in A2 is much better. It allows students to learn to their own wishes and in their own interesting ways. The exams are for 100 marks of which 40 marks are awarded through internals. Of the 40, 30 are awarded by the average of two mid examinations and 10 by the average of 6 assignments for each unit of the syllabus.

There are almost 80% of students being placed every year from our college. The job opportunities are quite sufficient and up to the level. The average salary package stays at around 4.5 LPA while the highest ranges around 10-15lpa.

Every year, we celebrate the college Annual Day ManasTarang at the beginning of March. We also celebrate several inter-department level fests at end of every year. Every department has freshers day and farewell parties which rock the stage. We celebrate all national-level festivals and events.

The fee structure for every academic year is around 85000. It involves the fee for the Training and Placement training program, examination fee, tuition fee, and some of it for miscellaneous activities.

Every student can avail of the Fee reimbursement if they are eligible by the criteria specified by the government. Our college also allows scholarships through the defense. Pur college rewards top three department level toppers with cash rewards every year.

Our college has a lot of areas being used for sports and extracurricular activities. We have a cricket ground, training nets, a basketball court, and badminton and volleyball courts. Each department has several labs associated with itself.

There are several alumni in contact with the college through faculty. They always strive to support the students. There is also an idea of an education center being established which is funded by the alumni.

I got into the college through EAMCET Counseling. I got into CSE Department in 3rd phase of counseling. My rank was 10971 and the last rank for CSE was 11300. There is also a chance for admission through the Management quota.

Most of the faculty are quite talented in the subjects. They are friendly to students compared to other colleges around here. There is a strict faculty-to-student ratio of 1:15. Our department has a teaching staff of 40 members and a non-teaching staff of 15 members.
