- The university should partiipate in games more like cricket tournament.
Course Curriculum Overview
Before taking admission at KRMU, I had compared the MBA course curriculum thoroughly with other college and university. I found that the DM curriculum here it better than others and aligns well with the present market needs.
Internships Opportunities
In my one year span, I have seen a couple of well established companies taking students for internships, a lot of startups also come here. One important thing that I like to mention is that the CDC plays a very good role in helping students get internships and placements.
Placement Experience
Placements is good. Higher placements come for Engineering students but MBA and BBA students also get avg placement of 8-9 LPA. Many of my seniors from last year got good placements at top companies like Hyundai, Maruti,Amkette, Flipkart, Adaan.
Fees and Financial Aid
The MBA fees was 350000 last year but it has increased to 385000 this year. The university charges other fees as well apart from the tuition fees. Scholarships is available and I also got it last year, my entire first year fee was waived off as my UG score was eligible for 100% scholarship. KRMU gives scholarships based on 12 marks and many other categories like sports, CAT, MAT, CUET etc score.
Campus Life
My overall campus environment has been very enjoyable. KRMU offers a vibrant social environment where all the students interact, collaborate, and create good friendships. I have made 5 good friends here. We also get involved in clubs and activites that help me develop new skills and gain confidence. The classrooms are hitech with smart boards, 24/7 hi speed wi-fi, good canteen, cateferis and mess, common room etc.
Admission
As already told, the curriculum of this univeristy was upto date and aligns well with the current market needs and what employers require. Therefore, I choose KR Mangalam. Also, the placements here is good. It had also applied to GD Goenka but later withdrew from there because when I talked with a couple of their students in the campus, they didn't give good feedback. The admission process of KRM is simple: Apply, Go for the KREE exam, A short interview will be taken and Final merit list will be given. If you pass, take admission after submitting your importnt documents and paying the fees.
Faculty
My faculties are very qualified, especially our Dean Hima Gupta ma'am. Other professors like Minakshi mam, Vijay Sir, Sapna Rana mam are also excellent. They help very much whenever we have any concept related confusion or need to ask anything. Exams are conductes twice a year with surprise tests one or twice a month. I really like my classes.
Interview Experience
Yes, it was a short interview with one SOMC professor. He asked some basic questions and a couple of tough ones as well. Overall, it was a good interview. There is no need to get nervous while facing the interview for admissin.
Night Life
The area around the college is quite good but not excellent as far as nighlife is concerned. You may find good restro, cafes and eating points nearby the university campus. However, you can roam around the campus and enjoy in the hostels as well.
Other Applied Colleges
GD Goenka University - [GDGU] | mba
GD Goenka's placements for MBA was not better than KRMU. Also, the overall campus environment of KRMU was far better then GDG.
