Course Curriculum Overview

5

I really wanted to do engineering for such a long time like in 8 class only i thought of pursuing my future in IT... WELL RNSIT curriculum included everything which is required in this change IT industry... Like almost every month there are hackathons using Ai and iot ... With all the subject included in it... The only thing which I think they can improve is there time management... No doubt they are providing everything but sometimes things gets hectic... Exam are usually 3 days long which includes 4 major subject and 3 1 credit subject

Internships Opportunities

5

Full stacker developer is the most common internship role many people got... Stipend starts from 15 k month to 1lakh per month .. The student which got highest package last year was working in Google as an intern for 6 months earning 1 lakh per month and now is a full time working professional in it ..

Placement Experience

5

Student from 5 semesters are usually eligible for placements... Companies like oracle , boscom, wipro and other are very common in our campus... Last year highest package was around 54 lakhs and almost every student go placed but in reality only 60 % of senior got placed other didn't even qualify for placements... Definitely try to crack my dream job... To be working as a full time software engineer...

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fees which I payed is around 3 lakh excluding extra college expenses like books fee , exam fees and other miscellaneous expenses.... Tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the course completion as per the category (like Management, SC, ST) all the above fees are included in this... The fees for students coming through Kcet is max 1.4 lakhs yearly... They have multiple scholarship for students whose family income are under 2-4 lakhs...

Campus Life

4

Algorithm is a small college get-together type fest which usually happens in every month or two months...and most famous fest of our college is pantheon... Which happens every two year... Our library have every type of book old books and new up-to-date books we can also borrow books ... Our college team is kabbadi champions in college level ... And we have two sports grounds for sports (like football, vollyball , cricket, badminton and basket ball).... Rnsit also have a music club know as dhwani which will help you to polish your music skills and senior are there to guide you to success There are multiple code clubs , event management club and robotics club which is tbh is really cool

Admission

College like DSATM and Dr ambedkar college where there in my list of admission but RNSIT tops them with it's placement and alumini network.. I really didn't apply for much colleges...but yeah I got rejected from Dayanand sagar and manipal institute of technology... Like there will be some fee for getting admission and like you should have got seat after qualifying Kcet comedk... Or you can get admission through management... 2024 cutoff was around 31k ...and for past few years cutoff is increasing....

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is like for 50 students there is one faculty... And the faculty student relationship is preety decent like teachers are interactive... And we can talk to faculty at any point of time if they are at there office... Till now I really don't had such a bad faculty incounter... But there was one teacher who I thought was entitled because he used to poke me a lot but later he only helped me in my college project and i cleared things out there with him... To be honest he was a pretty fun teacher... There are 2 internals , 2 lab internals and one external and one lab external... Only few failed cus they didn't take exam seriously and some were not well... Other than this there were no other reason for them to fail... And syllabus are up to date.... Like AI have been included as an extra subject and every month there happens an activity related to AI AND IOT...

Night Life

5

RNS Institute of Technology is not known for a very active nightlife, but students still have plenty of ways to relax and spend time with friends after classes. The campus has a peaceful environment, and most students usually hang out at the college cafeteria, open seating areas, or nearby cafés and restaurants around Uttarahalli and Kengeri. These places are popular for group discussions, snacks, and spending time with friends after a busy day. The library, laboratories, and most academic facilities generally close in the evening after college hours. The cafeteria operates during the day and evening, while the gym and sports facilities are accessible during designated timings. Hostel students are required to follow hostel regulations and in-time rules set by the management, ensuring safety and discipline on campus. Outside the campus, students often visit nearby cafes, restaurants, shopping areas, and entertainment spots in South Bengaluru during weekends. The locality around RNSIT
