Course Curriculum Overview

5

the curriculum includes both theory and practical teachings adequately and follows the curriculum set by CCRH. A little more hours for clinical posting from 3rd year would help inculcating the practical practicing of medicine in students more.

Internships Opportunities

4

For medical courses, we have a mandatory internship of 1 year. we have to serve in the hospital associated with the college itself. Jawaharlal Nehru Homoeopathic Hospital. It is a NABH accredited hospital, hence it adds value to the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees annually for BHMS was 120,000 INR(management quota), which has now increased for new admissions and is about over 200000 INR. The tuition fees for students from government qouta for batch 2020 was 80,000. Apart from the tuition fees we paid 34,000 as exam fees in the 1st year, which became 12,000 per year 2nd year onwards.

Campus Life

5

The university arranges various expos such as techexpo, medexpo to help the students' overall growth. The social life at campus is also very happening since the college organises concerts and fests throughout the year. All the major festivals are celebrated and the annual fest DHOOM gives a stage to various talents. There are sports team for football, cricket, basketball, tug of war, badminton and so on. Those teams also get oppourtunity to play against other universities as well.

Admission

I choose this college as it was in the same city that in live in, out of the other colleges, this stood out to me of the campus, the college being older aand hence having more value than the other colleges.

Faculty

4

the recently appointed faculties are really good in terms of teaching and student-teacher relations providing a safe space for the students, while the older faculty is good at teaching, the old school mindset doesn't let the students-teacher bond grow. This is a 5.5 years long course (4.5 years of studying and 1 year of mandatory internship). Final exams takes place yearly and 1 mid-term exam in between.

Night Life

4

there is a gym, rooftop cafe, restaurant, and more than 20 available food options. hostel in timings are 8:30pm but students should come back at 6pm in the campus. To leave the campus for longer, the students are required to get a gate card from their hostel rector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

College hospital is usually well-equipped with real-time patient flow. Clinical exposure is solid – students get hands-on experience during postings. OPDs, IPDs, and emergency wards give real experience. Some colleges lack super-specialty departments but make up with general exposure.
