Course Curriculum Overview

4

course subjects are too good to become market ready also for government based exams. real life's problem based lab projects and experiments helps to understand concepts clearly. also each subjects have on an avg. 5 units if something is out of date then they remove that unit from the next time which is also helpful

Internships Opportunities

4

internships are based on cg: having higher cg and recomendation by the proffesor gives bonus support, skills they provide chances to students with different companies. if they are eligible and cracked the intern then they will get good stippened.

Placement Experience

4

right now placements are not that much great as compared to past records. beacuse of market requirment placements are availabe but canges to get placed is now more difficult beacuse of competition paremeter and companies requirments. placements depends upon students then branch so having better branch increses the chances to get placed. also highest package is around 85lkhs/annum avg is about 15lkhs and minimun is about 3-4lkhs

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying 246000 per year with an increment of 10%/ year. but there are some concessions based on categories and depends upon individual cast. also they offer own internship collaboration with other companies also they provide proper in campus intern. yes they provide scholarship based on different activites.

Campus Life

5

yes as i am a part of society. it is very helpul to for expouser and opportunities. most of the infrastructure is very good and top notch. social life and campus life is incredible with incredible students

Admission

dtu is one of the most prestegious college in india. also it has strong academic, placement background. alumini network is strong as well as society networking is also strong to give expouser. and most important they take high percentile students from jee/cuet and from other exams. so competition will become more difficult and best vs best.

Faculty

3

faculty members are highly skilled but most of them can't able to teach properly or able to convey their knowledge. course is designed based upon market requirments but not that much updated. exam are divided into 2 parts mid term and end term in lab based subject students have to score 21/60 overall to pass without lab based 27/75

Night Life

5

cafes and canteens are too good for hangout with friends also have an open air theater(an open circular area) for having fun kit kat, nescafe, dominoz and other brands outlet is also inside the college which is up to the mark for late night college is too good for having fun with groups

Placement Experience:

Placements for DTU were on the good side of the industry and as compared to other colleges. The probability of landing a job in DTU mid-lower branch were higher than IPU top branches. I did got oncampus placement in the end of 4th year. Percentage of Student getting placed was: 70-75% as per my year. Minimum package in my branch was around 6LPA and Max was around 25 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college used to be good, with almost 100% placement rates. But that hasn't been the case lately. There has been a significant drop in placement rates from the past couple of years, mainly because of the lack of job oppertunities and declining job markets. But, the placements are still better as compared to private colleges, NITs and newer IITs. The placements here are conducted in 2 phases. Phase 1 placements start in August- September, with the interviews starting from 1 December. The phase-2 placements start from January and then go on for entire semester. The student becomes eligible for sitting in placements in their 7th semester. While phase 2 placements are still not over for this year, I can share the placements stats of previous year. Around 70% students sitting for placements got placed. Rest students either prepare for civil services, or for higher studies like M.Tech, MBA,PhD, etc., but their percentage is very less. Most students come here only for internships and placements. The average package package for previous year was around ?15-16 LPA, and median package was around ?14 PLA.

Placements can be as high as 16L per year. The average package of placements is 4L-5L. But only top students get wide opportunities in the placement area, which is why the percentage of students getting placements is not great. Companies like IOCL, HPCL and TCS are among the major recruiters that come to this college.
