SRM REVIEW

1) I did apply to SSN but my cut off was very low to join, I did not apply to any other college . I chose this college beacuse it was one of industry best and it was easy for me to commute 2) I did get rejection from SSN beacuse my cut off was low and i didnt ace their college entrance test properly. 3) there is no extrance exam, i applied for SRM and then paid fees and got admission. Eligibility is above 60 percent in 12th Most preferred course was ALML and core and ECE. The admission experience was pretty bad. They asked too much management fees beacuse of my late admission. I chose SRMIST over other college because of its strong placements oppurtunities, modern infrastructure and industry oriented curriculum for CSE. I had also applied to VIT and other colleges. While VIT is academically strong, i preferred SRM for its campus exposure , diverse stundent community and active technical clubs. Compared to VIT, SRM offered better placement support and a more competitive coding environment, whcih aligned with my career goals. Eligibility requrires around 50-60% in PCM in 12th grade. Based on rank, students are alloted brances and campuses through counseling. There is also a mangement quota option. Overall, the admission process was smooth and well organized, making it a practicle and reliablr choice....Read More

I chose the SRM INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY because of it's reputation and infrastructure and placement opportunities compared to other many other private universities I also explored a few other colleges but SRM offeres better facilities industry exposure and the course. I chose this college because it has good faculty, infrastructure, and a supportive learning environment conpared to other colleges I considered. I applied to a few other colleges but the cutoff ranks were higher there.My entrance exam rank was better suited for this college, so i selected it during counselling.
