What Students Say

Likes

The principal is very supportive and helpful to students. The management listens to student problems and guide us. The college campus environment is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of my course is good and easy to follow. It includes both theory and practical subjects which helped me to understand the topics better i choose this course because it provides useful knowledge related to the field and helps in building basic skills.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

My college provides internship opportunities for students to gain practical experience. Currently we are doing a one month internship in a diagnostic center where we learn about lab testes, sample collection, and basic diagnostic procedures.

Placement Experience

The college also provide basic placement support like career guidance, interview preparation, and skill development program. After completing my degree, i plan to gain work experience in my feild and improve my professional skill for better career opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fee in my college is around 2,50,000 rupees for the complete course. This fee includes admission fees, registration fees, development fees, lab fees, and other compulsory charges. The fee may vary slightly depending on the category such as General, SC, and ST.

Campus Life

My overall campus life experience has been positive. The college provides a supportive and engaging environment. The library offers a good collection of academic books and journal, and the classrooms are equipped with essential learning facilities.

Admission

I choose this college because it has good reputation and offers the course i wanted to study. Compared to other college this college provides good faculty, and supportive learning environment. It also has decent facilities and opportunities for student to improve the skills.

Faculty

The faculty member in my college are helpful and supportive . The teachers are knowledgeable and explain the subject clearly. The exam system includes internal assessment and semester exams. The marking scheme is fair and based on student performance in assignment, internal tests, and final exam.

Night Life

In my experience the nightlife around my college is simple but enjoyable. After classes i usually spend time with friends in the common area. The library stays open till evening for studying. And the campus area is generally safe for students to walk around at night.

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Likes

The College Atmosphere, The Students are mostly good and unproblematic.

Dislikes

The teaching staff they're arrogant and unskilled.
Teaching is below the mark for even average as the bar.
Lab facilities are very poor and the condition ia not sterile for experiments

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

About the college life

Likes

Teacher are well indulged , they help you .
Very good area where students get stuff they need.
Provision of canteen and stationery given

Dislikes

Campus is tooo small for a student to even have lunch
Strict and actively don't support in athletics
Sometimes, dealing with admin-related processes like society budget approval or fest dates approval can be slow and confusing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I got admission in 2024 so BCU started SEP Batch which is totally new , and we really don't find any book to refer on the basis where we don't get help as much as we need and it's new , bsc has alot to do .

IISc at a glance: An Institute with a Legacy of Excellence

Likes

Research culture, cooperation and a distinct lack of competition
Active student bodies, cultural groups, regional groups
Friendly professors, good understanding of mental health on the professor level

Dislikes

Bad decisions taken by admin regarding mental health, such as removal of ceiling fans and attempts at coverups.
Apparently Caste Based discrimination. Seems to be a lawsuit right now.
Difficulty with time management in early semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

Although it is a college, there are a lot of restrictions

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.
