Course Curriculum Overview

5

One thing that has made me chose this course is as law is now the highest rated course. Lawyers are also one of the top paid professionals and who don't want to be that and thus I am pursuing law as money is endless here. Median of lawyers or rather good lawyers is in crores and that itself was a huge motivation to pursue law.

Placement Experience

5

Placements for Law are not comparable to the tech courses so far at GLA. Every year combining BBA LLB and BA LLB around 300 and I don't think even 100 are placed. So, GLA University will have to find a way to get atleast half the students find placements here and because I know my chances of getting placements are slim, I will be opting for doing LLM after I am done with LLB in 2027.

Fees and Financial Aid

GLA University is primarily an university for engineering but Law has picked up and now has the students it should have in its armoury. One of the main reasons of that is because it is as amazing as it can be and also the low fees. Yes, the fees for law is just 1.4 lakhs a year and hostel fees is also around that.

Campus Life

5

Every field available at the campus has its own building. Now that's a novelty which not many has as I have seen many private colleges like the VIPS and all where all branches are headed in same building. Coming to our law building a three floor building with a moot court and mini coffee shop inside. It's as good as anything and I have never felt like even seeing any other departmental building because our building has it all.

Hostel Facilities

5

There are only 2 girls hostels and with the number of female students increasing every year, rhe university will have to find a way to increase the capacity. Now coming to rooms and all the best thing is rooms may be small but atleast they are sanitized and has attached washrooms.

Admission

GLA University like many private university has its assessment test and for law it's same as CLAT. Trust me it wasn't easy it's just that competition was not high as CLAT otherwise it is difficult to enter GLA too. Since not much competition and students have to compete only among a few thousands as university has that many seats with them.

Faculty

5

Law faculties need full support of students as well as some are still I to research and thus takes us along with it. Without research nobody can succeed or become what he/she wants to. Decorated degrees and all are things of past as our professors don't stay on those beds. They want to be in action always and thus our classes are full of action.

Night Life

5

Since am i an hosteller for us things are opened till 12. At 12 the alarm rings and no one is allowed to wander at the campus, be it boys or girls. For outing Mathura is a historical and religious city so we have a lot to roam and we do that as well.

Placement Experience:

The college provide students with PDF lectures which focuses on personality development which includes confidence building, speaking and listening skills, etc. They also give tips for a better resume and how to give interview and prepare us for interviews by organising mock interviews. 5th year students are the focused students for the campus placement. Some students choose to be an advocate and others may prepare for higher studies and or prepare for judiciary and other civil services examinations. I personal preference to go for the one field which can open my ways for other field stoo.

Therefore I had to find it on my own just like half of our batch has to as less than half were placed. LLM is also going on in my mind but that is only if I am able to get in top colleges or will continue to serve as a lawyer.

As I'm studying BALLB and the teaching method in our college is pretty nice as they conduct field visits, courts visits and also invites different personalities who Excel in the law field that helps us to understand how the real world works in this field and I really thinks that this college should more focus on their class overall timings sometimes they got really lengthy every year our university conduct 2 exams separately for every semester. and the difficulty level depends on the students preps
