Course Curriculum Overview

5

Our law syllabus hasn't been inspired from any one as some takes from NLUs while some from Symbiosis Law School but our syllabus is entirely ours. We don't have everything absolutely exclusive and therefore when I went for intenrships I outshined even the National Law Jodhpur University students who were my co-interns.

Placement Experience

5

Corporate Law is a subjects but no corporate placements as law firms were the sole contributors of our university. They gave as many placements as 30% students were placed and that too with very thin packages. So, university needs to fix this just like they have fixed every single thing at the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

GLA University is one of the largest university in Mathura and law from there is only getting bigger and better. Our fees is around 1.4 lakhs and since I am in my 4th year it got increased otherwise for the first three years i paid 1.25 lakhs. Hostels are also not that expensive as the hostel fees is 1.35 lakhs a year.

Campus Life

5

GLA University promotes sports and sports event and that is the reason why we have top quality sports facilities. One section of the campus is dedicated to that and if that's not all we still have a plenty of room for adding a few more hostels. Students have increased but hostels hasn't. Our annual fest is Spandan and I am a part of Dhristi Society which is the photograpy club of the university.

Hostel Facilities

5

As I have written before hostels need to be increased as small room has been made to a yhre seater room because we don't have enough space. Also, food is not upto mark so because my parents haven't allowed I am not staying at the PGs otherwise hostel facilities and food especially needs to change here.

Admission

GLA admission test and CLAT scores both are accepted here and also students with no brainer gets admission here. The reason is university has seats like a pack of cards and any number of students can be admitted here. I came through a CLAT rank of 18000 as this was way higher than university actual intake criteria.

Faculty

5

Our faculties have seen so much thar they don't even bother the management and teach which even university hasn't added in the syllabus. So this makes our faculties more exciting as we know that we won't be learning just the published or bookish things. Thus, they always offer something extra and for that I am always be grateful to them.

Night Life

5

Krishna Janam Bhoomi and majorly we go to Barsana or Vrindavan as its just 20-30 kms from our campus and those are the places which one can visit all year round. Nidhivan in Vrindavan was our latest outing and even our university takes us on trips.

If we talk about syllabus and subjects, it is quite good and relevant. We get subjects of social studies for getting an exposure to the societal and historical glimpse. On the other side students get an opportunity to study legal subjects to get a theoretical knowledge of legal world.

Placement Experience:

Yes they do provide campus placement last year only almost 70 students were offered jobs in campus placement. But in our case most of the students have their own plans like the majority of them are generational lawyers so either they'll join their firms or they have very good contacts so they'll get places easily but in my case as a first generation lawyer we do get internship or assessment internship in which we get very good chances to get PPO they we don't have to relay on college for campus placement. In my case if i didn't get campus placement then wherever I've done my internship I'll try to convert my internship into a PPO

Placement Experience:

Students from third year have started getting Pre-Placement Offers, but many of those are majorly due to their own accomplishments. Students get ample amount of time to intern at various law firms and courts, to secure a PPO on their own. In addition to this, the Internship and Placement Committee, often comes in aid to secure PPOs for the students of the graduating batch.
