The course teaches about everyday aspect of economics. The microeconomics theories, the macroeconomic theories, the statistical methods of economics, the econometrics methods, the mathematical methods of economics, international economics, environmental economics, Indian Economic Development theories and everything. All these subjects will help the students to make their way ahead in the field of economics. The curriculum includes the real life applications of the theories which makes the theories relatable for the students. I think curriculum structure should eliminate the extra subjects like VAC or SEC and focus on the core subjects because these extra subjects usually waste the time of the students which they can contribute in their core subjects. I think the schedule of the exams cancelled be made better.

I have paid Rs. 30,000 for the 1st year, approx Rs. 20,000 for the 2nd year and will be paying Rs. 20,000 for the 3rd year. There is no lab charges in this course. The course fees is same for all the categories . The college provides the provision of getting relaxation in the fees for the students who fulfill the required criteria set by the University. It is the financial aid provided on the basis of the family income and the category.

The campus life of my college is pretty good. It is a very large campus with multiple lawns and gardens. It has a huge ground where students can play, or spend their time during break. The library is full with all the journals and all of these are accessible. The classrooms are equipped with projectors which can be used by teachers imto clarify the concepts in a better way. The college has its own official website. There are student run social channels also in which information about the fests or competitions and about the achievements of the college and students are posted.

I applied to both North campus and South campus colleges on the basis of their rankings. I got confirmed for a very good South campus college and thein i upgraded for the second round in which I got my current college which is in the North campus. I think I didn't make it in other colleges which I hoped I would because of the heavy completion among the students. The college is taking admission on the basis of CUET scores and there is havey competition for the seats in good colleges.

The faculty members are very good. They are very good at clearing concepts. They properly help students in clearing doubts in the tutorial sessions. The faculty to student ratio is right. The students can approach the faculties in an easy way to ask about important things, career guidance or any paper related doubts. I liked the faculty of Statistics. The way of teaching is great and her way of concept teaching is very clear for the students. I didn't dislike any faculty, they were all good. There is one end sem examination, 2 internal assessments per subjects and 2 continuous assessments. These are as per the level of the course. As it's Economics honours course, it demands the hardwork from the students.

I have only given the written examination for the admission. It was CUET which Common University Entrance Test. I applied for the Delhi University and the St. Xavier's College , Kolkata. I got selected in St. Xavier's College but I wanted to wait for the allocation rounds of DU and get admission in DU. So I let go of the Xavier's College. Here, the seat allocation takes place on the basis on the scores of the students along with their categories like general, OBC, SC and ST. There are other categories also like single girl child or parents in army etc. I prepared for the exams from the study materials of class 11 and 12 and free sources on YouTube. Also , in the last 2 weeks, i gave multiple mocks for practice.

The hostel of the college is good and provided with the campus of the college. At night the college looks more vibrant and aesthetic. The students can enjoy the food at cafeteria or order something from outside and enjoy it in the campus. They have the gym area to exercise and everything.
