Course Curriculum Overview

2

the bca course curriculum in my collage is avarage in terms of relevance. the curriclum would be much better if more practical and job oriented subjects were added the exams ar of moderate difficulity .

Fees and Financial Aid

my yearly fees for the course is 12000 which i pay for the beginning of every academic year.the one time registration fees is 300.there is no other fees i belong to the general category so i pay 12000 per year however someof my batchmates belong to sc caterogy they got nearly 50 % fees reduction.there is mainly one known scholarship named labour scholarship.

Campus Life

3

my overall experience with campus life has been simple but positive.our collage does not have very big festivals, but we do have small annual events and cultural program once a year usually around november the library in our collage has a basic collection of books related to bca and some general subjects.the classrooms are well maintained and clean but the technological facilties are limited there are not many active clubs in the collage but there is indore stadium where we play lot of games. even through the campus is not very modern the atmoshpher is peaceful and safe

Admission

i choose this collage mainly because it was close to my home and the admission processes was simple i apply other collage university of kashmir but my cuet score was very low and i didn't clear cut off .the admission processes in my collage is very starigh tforward.students need to submit their 10th and 12th marks sheet transfer certificate passport size photo and the registration fee.there is no entrance exam for bca and admission is given on a first come first served basis.

Faculty

3

there are around 10 faculity members in our bca department most of the teachers are friendly and supportive one of the best faculity memebr is nisar sir. his teaching style is simple and easy to undesrtand.we have 2 semester every year.however the main issue is outdated sallybus many topics are old and not used in modern IT jobs

Night Life

1

we don't have night life in our collage most people are from nearby they finish their classes and go home the gym in the campus usually close by 4 pm and the libarary shuts down around 5 pm overall the night life is not very vibrant.

Other Applied Colleges

University of Kashmir - [KU] | Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA]

actually my cuet score was not that good i didn't clear cutoff

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture subject is practical oriented and you will enjoy visiting agriculture fields and that was the sole reason i choose this field. The curriculum is well designed and you will not feel any problem while helping farmers in real world.. Improvement needed in practical work i.e more practical work should be done.

The practical nature of this course dragged me to choose this course. The course is well designed to solve the every day's problem. The practical portion should be enhanced more to inculcate practical knowledge. In a year 4 exams are conducted at an interval of 3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course includes subjects that are beneficial for me. For example: Gender and Society – teaches me about society’s orthodox traditions and norms. Indian Knowledge System – explains how India’s knowledge has evolved over time. Literature – provides an overview of English literature, excluding stories and poems, and focuses only on the parts that are useful for us. Environmental Studies – gives knowledge about our surroundings, including living and non-living things. Political Science – a systematic study of the structure and behavior of the state and political institutions. Logical Reasoning – the best part of the course, very useful for our knowledge as well as civil services and defense exams. Law and Society – will help me in my further studies in law. Personally, the two specific subjects that made me choose this course were Law and Society and Logical Reasoning, because these subjects are rarely available elsewhere and will be very beneficial for me. The teachers are good at teaching, but there is a need to make changes in the teaching methods. As of now, there are only blackboards or whiteboards, whereas instead there should be smart panels, which would make learning more interactive and keep students engaged. Exams are held about two months after the semester begins — first internals and then externals. There is generally a two-month gap between the two. I believe the difficulty level depends on how deeply we understand the concepts and how well we prepare, although overall the difficulty is usually easy to moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college curriculum was quite nice and i would rate it from good to very good, The syllabus is really good and covers both theoretical foundationand practical applications, which make it suitable for students aiming for industry roles or higher studies Areas of improvement include updating some subjectsmore frequently to meet the industry needs.Teaching methods could also be improved by using more interactive sessions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.
