Course Curriculum Overview

The B.Sc. Chemistry curculum is 90% relevant, strongly influenced by the focus on advanced analytical lab techniques and instrumention Exams include two Mid terms and one Ese. They are moderate to difficult heavily focused on problem solving and conceptual application and the frequent scheduling ensure consistent study

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees are approximately 16000 which includes a tuition fee ranging between 9000 and 10000 . An additional fee of lab upto 3000 for chemistry practical Besides the university exam fees , library fees are upto 3000 and some other charges are taken .

Social life is active cenyered around the annual cultural fest Jashn/panorama and the intercollegiate media fest AARSH The sci tech fest occurs around the same time The library is excellent Sports facilities are adequate including courts for volleyball and kho kho. Admission

I chose Jvm mehta college over others like (eg kirti college) primarily for its superior, well- equipped chemistry lab infrastructure and it's significantly more economical fee structure Admission for B.Sc. Chemistry was merit based on the HSC agreegate percentage

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is ideal ( approx. 1:15) in our core science department. Most faculty are extremely approachable and encourage research and project work. Best faculty Mrs. shakunthala N.M. is exceptional. Her in depth subject knowledge and practical focused teaching method make complex topics like thermodynamics and spectroscopy very clear and relevant The exam system is good

Night Life

The college is a day scholar campus with no hostel facilities. The library, cafeteria, and gym close promptly by 6:00 Pm as per official timing. Favorite hangouts spoys are the college main ground until closing, and the popular tea stalls near the main road after the classes.

Student Life at the Jai Hind College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is well structured it contains modules like Quantum Mechanics, Python,C and a newly added course on generative AI for skill development, which covers a good mixture of theory and practicles. The faculty is supportive and the lab is well-equipped. Its a good course if you're serious about physics and want to build usefull skills for the future.

Placement Experience:

placements can happen in any semester starting from 2nd semester, it completely depends on the companies which come to the campus for cadets. 95% of the cadets get placed at the end of their course. teh packages vary from 300000 to 1200000 per year. note that this is the stipend you get while training, once this training is finished and you have al the certifications and are medically fit for sailing you get ti earn 10 times more only after 2 years.

The Curriculum is very old type in today's generation the curriculum we need is not mentioned in it so feel bad that the future is based on AI, cyber security etc but they teachers uncessary subjects like EVS, Indian knowledge system etc that should not mentioned in our curriculum.

I always wanted to study forensic science so I chose this college. there are 10 faculty in the department. non-teaching is about 5. the teacher to student ratio is 1:9 which is pretty good we get proper concentration on our studies. all the teachers are well qualified and have completed master's degrees in their respective subjects. the exams are of medium-level difficulty.

And gives the opportunities to study in Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology , Australia 2.)RASA life sciences, Pune .3.) Applied Nanomaterials pvt.limited, Pune.etc . The students getting out from here also get into Boston , Sydney and other well known institutions. I plan to complete my M.Sc Biotechnology and go for the industrial biotechnology in a drugs and chemicals field.

My college doesn't gives internship opportunities for undergraduates.

Placement Experience:

Employment after this course is little hard as you can get good package job after completing masters (MSc) But still you can get internships at biotech companies or pharma companies. My plans are not fixed after this course but mostly i will opt for MSc but the subject is not fixed yet in which i want to specialize.
