Course Curriculum Overview

4

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness the course is good. Aspects that influenced me choose this course is this is a program course so after under graduation I'll have options to take 3 different majors for post graduation. This curriculum prepared us for real-world applications as in 4th year we have dissertation/research in which we can connect with real world. Talking about areas of improvement there is no projector in every class that I suppose have to be mandate and some equipments are not working and somewhere lack of chemicals to where we have to use alternatives to them. Talking about exams we have to submit assignments (1-2 of every subject) and internal tests will take place one time before the final exams. Not that easy and not that difficult.

Internships Opportunities

2

Not every internship come with stipend but there is a procedure for placement cell in which you have to submit your CV on their google form and then companies will shortlist you and interview you on that basis you will get internships sometimes paid and sometime unpaid. You can also apply for VCIS internships which was organised under vice chairman of Delhi University. Also there are summer internships and winter internships in the summer break in which you can apply.

Placement Experience

3

So last year of course are eligible for campus placements and in b.com courses there are more chances of placements and some courses in Science like stats also get on campus placements it was always around 6 to 8 pa. My plans after this degree is to complete my post graduate and then PHD

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is increasing every year. First year it was 17000. Second year it was 19,262. Third year it was 23,185 and last year it is 25025. This info is all for general. Scholarship is there in svc but not general quota and only can apply with ews certificate and not having backlog in any subject

Campus Life

3

So are college annual fest is Nexus and apart from that many festivals across the year happened. They are mostly likely to happen in February or March. Books and journals are easily available in the library so in that thing are library is good. Facilities are good there are AC is in some classes as well and many classes have projectors too. So we have annual sports competition named palaro and inter course competition will always be taking place throughout the year There are many clubs or society is in our college that is running by students like dramatic society singing society dancing society debating society's NGOs and others.

Admission

I applied to some more other colleges in North campus like Ramjas Shri Guru teg Bahadur and Hindu College in life sciences I place this college in my preference list as second or third that's why I got that college. There was no thing like rejection in our time because it was all about preference sheet that we made. So students having science stream (pcb) can take this course as they should have physics chemistry and bio in 12th class. By clearing Cuet exam and our course cutoff is nearly 450 or something. Overall admission experience was like good enough there was no kind of hassle and all went smoothly

Faculty

4

I'll probably say 3 teachers per 25 students. Faculty to student relationship is mostly good though some teachers are in approachable some times but overall good. I came from life sciences and faculty from zoology botany and chem department taught us. From them I'll say Neelam mam from chem department is very good. Anand sir and obaiah sir from zoo department is good and Sachin sir from botany is one of the best. I like them because their way of explaining things is very good and also they keep motivating you Faculties like manoj sir from botany and Robin from EVS department are the worst as they don't know how to communicate and very bad behaviour 4 core from your course and in extras we have ge- general elective sec-skill enhancement course and vac - value addition course and Aec - ability enhancement course which is Hindi or evs

Night Life

4

Yeah my college comes in South campus in Satya Niketan and here there are many places to hangout for... They are plenty of gyms, libraries, cafes and very big Park to walk or exercises. And there is no hostel outside but there are PGs and flats and timings can vary some will open at night but others will close the gate at 10:00 p.m. in college you can hangout at Rock garden outside Audi lobby or ground and at Maggi point and outside college there is Satya park and also Satya square where you can go and hangout even at night

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
