Likes
- I like my campus like it's green and it keeps growing(it's always under construction). Also the skies are really pretty here.
- I like that some of the teachers are good and actually wants to support you in your path.
- Curriculum is good but could be better than this.
Dislikes
- Some teachers do partially and give marks to people who don't even deserve it and for the sake of average they cut marks for no reason because even they don't know what is even wrong with the answer.
- There is a lot of social interactions here, i mean there will be no time when u don't see people on campus.
- Teachers don't know the subjects so they sometimes just teach rubbish
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good. The program chair assigns you subjects according to the branchs. If you study them well (not just to pass) you actually grasp a lot of knowledge and can also help in exams like gate cause they have similar subjects. The timings of the exams are pretty frequent that can be a little overwhelming but overall it keeps you in check and not slack off.
Internships Opportunities
I have not been in placements so I'm not the one to answer this but this year many Japanese companies came to pick students. U just need to learn fluent Japanese. Internships also provide various stipends, it various according to the companies.
Placement Experience
The placements are good here. The placement cell is also very active. I personally plan to masters after this. But the placement cell starts in the early 2nd year so that students have a head start which is very good and beneficial. The placements are also good.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 2,10,000 in my first year(2023) which included all the misllances fees. Then it cane down to 1,98,000. Our college actually conducts an examination for admissions and based on your rank you will get the corresponding category for the college - (Vellore, Chennai, Ap, Bhopal). I got in woth 1st category in cse(ai and ml). I don't think they provide scholarships but maybe to the state toppers.
Campus Life
We have fest(Advitya) where artists come and perform. Really good 3 days where u get food, to dress up, dj, have fun. Also other occasions like holi, woman's day. They celebrate it all. Cultural clubs have a lot of events that can be attended. Its fun. Library is also fun, they have books on every topic for engineering and then they have fictions. Sports events are also held yearly around the time of fest where other colleges comes and participates.
Hostel Facilities
We have a bed, a table, a chair, and a cupboard. The menu for mess changes every 2 month. The meal quality is just okay like any other hostel. You can register for hostel after u may the fees for college only. There are a lot of pgs around, in sehore, ashta and also in bhopal that provides tiffin service and auto van service. The college also provides bus service for the day scholars.
Admission
I choose this college cause this was my only option. Other colleges had higher fees and i think the admission process here is pretty smooth. You pay 5000 for counseling and you make your preferences and yay! U got a university.
Faculty
I like the exam system here cause they give u 2 chances for supplementary and also they give you chance for improvement. The teachers are good here they want students to succeed unless u piss them off. We have exams in almost every 2 months and they are not that difficult if you start studying like 2 3 days before the exam (listening during class is mandatory).
Night Life
Girls can't be outside after 7 30, so i don't know about the night life. They do allow late sometimes like when it's Advitya they allow till 8 30, so that's cool. Events like winterfest or summerfest also gets permission to stay for late duration outside on campus.
