Balancing academics and growth : a real experience at Shyama Prashad Mukherji College

One of the main reason was my college was the NIRF rank 1 in college category in the country right now , I got BHU and NIT Manipur as well but i didn't went because i felt like there would be better exposures.. Actually my main goal was to go to NDA but I couldn't make it in written and along the way i happened to give the cuet and got a good college so I just admitted it.. To get into DU Hindu college ,u must appeared cuet and get a good score for its usually one of the preferred college for every cuet aspirants, a person can give cuet after they appeared there 12 board exam and cut offs are usually high for good colleges and about the admissions experience, I would say it was really chaotic for I had to research everything for I know no one who studied in DU.....Read More

I applied for other colleges such a st. Stephen's and ramjas college which are also situated in north campus. The one reason i chose this college over Stephen's because of the strict environment of that college which feels kinda constricting. I couldn't make it to the cut off of the SRCC so yea it could be said i got rejected from there in a sense. During my undergraduate admission process i applied to only bhakaracharya college of applied cience a this was the only college with the course i pursued. and here i recieved a confirmed seat based on my merit under the DU admission cut off system. i chose this course and college because of its strong academic reputation in applied ciences and excellent laboratory structure. The specialized course offered here i highly industrial relevant. BCAS stands out for its research oriented teaching approach , qualified faculty and best equipped labs which was the most important factor for me because for me practical application and learnings are more important. If i wanted to i could easily get into anyother college and specialization but this particular course polymer science stuck with me and i decided to stick to it.
